:peace:right now i am rooting clones in a 18/6 indoor light cycle. my question is , can i take rooted clones outside to veg then bring them back inside to bloom 12/12? the outside time cycle is not even close to 18/6:peace:

You can, and they will probably do fine. I've done it before. HOWEVER! It is very likely that you will bring outside bugs into your flower room. Mites thrive indoors, but they are kept at bay by natural predators outside. That's why mites are a much bigger indoor problem than outdoor. Be sure to neem/avid/azitrol, or whatever you use to get rid of mites before you bring them back inside.

or you could flower them outside, just cover the plant with something lightproof (or bring inside into a pitch black closet or something) so that its getting the full 12 hrs of darkness it needs, thats probally the best option, sunlight is awesome.

cool! but, will moving the clones that are now under 18 hours of light, outside to 14 hours of light trigger the flowering process? i dont want this because i would like to veg outdoors.

It's hard to tell, it really depends on strain. If they are small enough, you can move them back inside at sunset and put them under another 4-6hr of light, then take them outside in the morning again. That way they get 14 hours of sun and 4 hours of indoor light.

switch the plant under different light souces is going to cause a lot of stress to the plant and a 14hr cycle will induce the flowering cycle depending on strain you can get away with 17 hr light without triggering but you will no doubt turn your females into a lady boy yes a hemafrodite. yes you can flower indoors but you must consider the stress factor. plus dont just put the plants outdoors on full light let them out for 3 hours then 2 hours more each day as to lower the stress of the plant blinding it all at once
