I went to court, and pled no contest. I was given 12 months probation, and $1750 in fines. I was lucky enough to get a withhold of judication, so I am not a convict. I'm gonna be paying for that joint I never got to smoke for months...

first offense?
it's a misdemeanor, don't worry. You could end up with just a fine and some comm service.

I got prob and a fine. But my charge was a felony.

What state you in?

Probations starts the next month. They can't expect you to be clean once you get sentenced.

mane you got off lucky with that one, i thought you were doing time

It is all about the money with them. They set you up a nice payment plan didn't they? KEEP RECORDS. They will swear you didn't pay in the end. What kind of probation? Do you have to check in?

thats why i say defend yourself and never plead guilty and make it a money drain on them, and they will leave you alone once they know your MO

If you make them work and you are found guilty you can face a harsher sentence, than if you pleaded.
