i just broke off one of my main stems on accident while trying to water some plants in the back of my closet. The stem is pretty badly split. what i want to know is will the plant survive till harvest. I have about two weeks to go and i dont know if the plant will make it.

Has anyone else had this problem, and if so how did it turn out for you.

I have a couple of buds hanging by threads but they're still alive. Tape it up, splint it if possible. But don't cut it off unless it starts drying up.

This has happened to me quite a few times as the branches become more woody and brittle during flowering.
I always just tape it up and sometimes splint them.
They are remarkably resilient plants and have always healed themselves for me with a little help.
Good Luck.

thanks guys im over here shitting a brick. i already cut off the one branch as it was only one cola (there are many more colas). i am mostly worried about whether the plant will survive because there is still about 2/3 left still standing. i will take your advice. i understand this will end up how "god" wants it to. so wish me luck. thanks!

The main plant will do just fine, don't worry.

your main plant will not miss it infact you may get bigger nuggs on other branches cause your plant wont be concentrating anymore energy to that one

I am so happy to hear the plants are resilient in this way : my first guess when reading the original post was that the plant must surely be doomed! Cool to hear this; I'm learning more and more everyday!

just goes to show how strong these plants can be. he was thinking you were gonna try to save the branch, because they can bounce back from some pretty serious injuries. even during flowering! i think you did the right thing by removing it. an injury that bad may have slowed the whole plant down for healing, and that would've been baaad juju.

this might sound totally ridiculus, but when god gives me these problems w/ my plants, i treat it like it was my 2yr old baby who just got hit by a car, thats when i feel god in my hands gently fixing my babies!!!!! and yes these plants will come back from the dead w/ your magic fingers!!!! woooohoooo :joint::joint: that was a too toker!!!!
