i did a search for slugs but didn't see any threads with my problem, so here goes..
when i went to check on my babies the other day i noticed what looked like a small boogie or lugie on a leaf.. when i checked to see what it was i noticed that it was a small slug.. i pulled the little sucker off of the leaf, and when i did i noticed a small hole right where the slug had been chilling at.. i got the slug out of the garden, i am growing indoors in soil under a t5 and i am in veg right now.. now that i look around the garden i see other damage, more of the same kind of holes in several other leaves..
i don't see any other slugs anywhere else, so my first ? is this damage all done by one slug? the plants are all in close proximity to one anoter and i guess that lil slimeball could have crawled freely from one plant to another.
my next ? is there anything that i could do to prevent the return of these pests? any kind of spray or whatever that i could use?
and lastly, are these holes anything that i really need to be worrying about?
i could definitely post some pix of that would help, but it was definitely a slug and they just look like it ate some holes in a few leaves..
any help with this would definitely be much appreciated, and plus rep for anyone with some good help..
thanks in advance:joint:
