Yeah, i've stayed away from rockwool for the mold/algae/disease issues i've seen so many people have with it. i guess it's kind of an unfair bias because i know that we're all people and people can screw up just about anything imo. So it only makes sense to me that it could be a decent medium that just gets messed up through user error or neglect.

If you decide to develop a new medium(i was thinking of using coco) i encourage you to make it available as inexpensively as possible and as easy to use as a toothbrush in order to allow the maximum number of people to grow their own medicine.

You also don't have the possibility of getting mugged if you go to a dispensary instead of a dealer.

Sure they'll have overheads to cover, but they are pretty minimal really. Dispensaries are indeed an utter and total rip off, but it's not entirely their own fault, seems there are far far too many greedy bitches growing and trying to sell wholesale at near retail prices. The MMJ scene amuses me.

Seems noone can accept it's legality unless profit margins maintain at their current absolute joke of a level. As you say, greed greed greed greed, for a plant that's supposed to be linked with peace, hippies, love, relaxation, and such, it's a little disappointing to see such greedy people, but hey, money takes priority over morals and ethics every time, we all know this, it's how the world works. Doesn't matter who you're screwing over for what reason if you can be making a buck. I'm just a bit of an idealist though, i see it as nothing but a plant so i treat it as nothing but a plant.

Hell, put it into perspective, cannabis is easy as sweet fuck to grow and in large quanities, it sells for maybe 5x or more the price of white truffles which have to be hunted once a year in woodlands using pigs, dogs, bare feet etc, and they are rare and can take hours to locate each one. Nothing fucked up about the situation whatsoever :D Oh right, it's kinda illegal, that justifies it right? No, you're all medical. WTF?

I see your points tip top and stealth. I live in a city where there are dispensaries on every block. My block is bookended by dispensaries actually. I still remember the streets being "dry", and when there was something good around these jokers would try selling it for 60 an eighth. Now I can go down the block and if they don't have something I like go to the other end. The fact that they are now required to test their product is great too. I can buy a 22% THC Sativa for 35 an eighth. Dealers are more greedy than most the dispensaries around here, though I do agree all in all, we shouldn't have to pay for the plant period. We do though, and I for one am grateful that I can know what I'm getting and at least know it was grown in the state instead of shipped. Oh, and starting next month the local dispensaries have to keep ALL info for EVERY plant they grow including water and nutrient cycle and what type of nutes were used. How many dealers do that for you for 35 an eighth. Competition keeps driving prices down too. Some dispensaries here have 8 dollar grams.

where i live dispensaries are a rip off. but there are some out there further away that are pretty fair priced. i try and tell everyone stop buying weed for a while and buy equipment and i'll help you get setup and you will have a constant free flow besides electricity and such. but barely anyone i know can go without smoking for a second so they're stuck paying outrageous prices never in hope to buy any equipment. lot of people just need to control their smoking habits.

does a unicorn fly over a fluffy cloud and shit free weed where you live? that rarely happens here. last time it did, the cops beat the shit out of that unicorn with batons.

if you really agree weed should be free, then send me a pound, please. i mean, it just grows itself, right?

Um, that's exactly what i do, i grow as much as i have space for, it's easy as fuck :D if i had more room i'd grow more. I don't sell what i grow, i smoke it or give it away to friends. If i had sunshine and didn't pay for electricity, i'd grow an FDD garden worth and drive along throwing it at pedestrians :p I don't get where people are coming from when they're moaning about how hard and time consuming it is etc, they must be awful growers.

And it's not a complaint, it's an observation, i couldn't give two damns how badly yanks get ripped off, i'm from the UK, we've not implemented a scam like MMJ yet.
