it's all politics. any politician who will try to push the issue of legalization, will quickly be jumped on by their political opponents who will say "why are you wasting everyones time with marijuana issues when the country has many more important problems that need to be addressed".

I have a personal question. Do you believe all that B.S. where the government wants only the best for it's citizens, and it protects us and loves us etc.etc.? Well Sir, time to wake up. Government just wants to bend us over, and if we want weed to be free, they will devise new ways to keep it away from us and enforce their laws of death on us even harder. In turn, there just is no debate for the government, and the only answer is we the people need to stand up, and stop buying anything. You guys in the city, well too bad for you. plus its the money.
its fairly obvious, that it takes real money to be in the drug business.

You guys realize that if we go to war with Iran there will be a draft, right? We just spent 10 years fighting two wars and our military is stretched to its limits on manpower. We have Iraq/Afghanistan veterans committing suicide at alarming rates. If we go to war for oil (once again), you will be the ones dying for it. Like an earlier poster said, legalization is the least of our worries. The rich lawmakers want more profit at the expense of everyone else (once again).
