My lights are supposed to run from 7am-7pm. Well, I woke up yesterday at 7 and freaked out when it was 7:30 and my lights still weren't on. I figured a breaker had tripped while I was at work some time during the week and thrown my timer off. I twisted the timer until the lights came on, reset the timer, and went to work.

Shortly after I hit the freeway and looked at the clock in my car, I realized my clock had already set itself forward automatically so technically they shouldn't have been on until my clock said 8:00.

So anyway, to make a long story short, I turned my lights on about 40 minutes early yesterday :(

Yeah, they'll be fine. I'm not all that worried about it, I just thought it was a funny story. Just goes to show my mind doesn'twork that great until I've been up a couple hours haha.

I just had a digital ballast go bad. Several plants were on low light until I could get a new one. A couple days.

My buddy just had something similar happen. His cord caught on fire and burned up half of his room. His plants had no light for 3 days while the electrical was being repaired and now they look all distorted.

I told him not to use extension cords...

took me and the dog 2 hours to figure out if they lights would work under daylight savings time or not....they worked but it was a fun time arguing back and forth. he won.

Only once doesn't hurt em.. if it happened a couple times a week- you'd stress em into getting bananas or something...
