I can't smoke anything but a bong

that's also not true.

it is smoking that fucks up your tolerance.

good bag vapes like the herbalaire (much more economic than the volcano)or the volcano, only make your tolerance better.

when you get used to a bag vape, you'll be stoned ALL DAY, off of up to 3X less bud (for me this was completely true.) there is no cap out point like with smoking.

when you smoke all the time, vaporizers don't really work that well on you.

you have to make yourself exclusive to vaporizing to truly utilize the benefits.
you have evidence apart from personal experience to back up any of these claims?

because essentially you are saying you consume MORE thc with a vaporizer than combustion.

is that because combustion burns THC up and therefore it doesn't go into your lungs?

Oh wait, isn't that the point of smoking?

Some facts and research would be nice.bongsmilie

Poplars, your descriptions REALLY make me want to get a volcano. I think I might be able to get one this summer actually, if growing takes off like i expect it too.

there is some research that shows that you lose up to 30% in pyrolysis . . . . which is loss in combustion.

smoldering (which is what you get when you use a herb-iron or smoke a joint(the cherry)) is much more efficient, I don't know if the thing I read on pyrolysis applied to cherries, if it does then using a flame is even less efficient.

regardless, think about convection. heated air passing through bud permeating it transferring heat causing the cannabinoids to liquify and boil. the boiling causes the vapor to come off, nothing is lost in this process.

I think it says something, me going from 12 joints a day to probably equal to 3 joints a day worth of bud after getting my herbalaire.

and to the post above, I don't htink you should save up for a volcano when a herbalaire offers the same warranty, same quality with a little less ease of use but 250 dollars less . . . . .

Vaporizer highs are nice but the problem with whip vapes compared to bag vapes is that it takes like 15 minutes to vaporize a tiny amount of bud that I could hit in 30 seconds through my bong.

From personal experience, the high comes down an instant knock on your ass high vs a slow more paced out high.

Intensity vs Clarity is a bong hit vs a vape hit, to me. Since I like the indica effect more as it is, the bong is the way to go for me.

No doubt that vaporizers are more herb efficient, however.

I just prefer that huge overwhelming high that lasts for 20 minutes and then it moves into a more controllable high

I have a herbalaire.

and it can act as both a bag vape and a whip vape.

I only use it as a bag vape ;).

and honestly I hate smoking highs, I prefer getting high as fuck for an hour, than getting high as fuck for like 20 mins than dropping down . . . lame. I'm a medical patient, need to be high allll the timee....

I'm still going to say a bong rip will get you higher than one vape hit.

Your saying with a vape you'll get that same intense high for an hour which is just not true. Why, it's because you need LARGE amounts of thc absorbed all at once to get the intensity effect.

Most agree that if they want to get absolutely BLOWN they use a bong. The more intense, the higher the stress relief factor...ESPECIALLY from that first hit.

I can see how you say vaporizing is more efficient but to say the high is more intense or even lasts longer just isn't true.

This is how I break it down.

.5g bong hit, 20-30 minutes BLOWN, 1hr or so pretty high, and then next 1 1/2-2hrs is the come down. Usually I'll hit it again after 3-4hours. If I had more bud, I'd probably smoke more.

Then again, this is ALL bong vs whip vape.

With a bag vape i assume you can get almost as big, fast and intense of a hit as you can with a bong because you don't have to draw it, however that thick foggy feeling just isn't there with vapes.

To be fair, if you want to be high all day long without taking naps, vaporizing is the way to go. :)

Sorry did someonesay that taking a hit from a bong is less powerful than a hit from a bag? That's not what's being discussed. What's being discussed is the level of high (intensity/time) per a quantity of weed. As someone who has owned good vapes and shit vapes, still smokes pipes, bongs and joints, I know from my experience and that of fellow long time smoker that the vape is more effecient in it's use of weed. Not in how "good" the high is, as that is a matter of preference, but simply how long your stash lasts.
