I cannot get my ph below 6.8 in my canna coco. The plant is still getting huge but I know coco is supposed to be a lot lower like 5.5. I put sulphuric acid PH down in my filtered water and PH it as low as 4. The run off and the coco remain around 6.8. Any advice growers?IMG_20130306_021009_683.jpg

Yeah read the plant instead of info here. You've burned the living piss out of it. Nitrogen toxicity is clearly evident.

LOL ya I know I feed it like 4 days in a row thinking I had to feed coco daily. I flushed and quit giving nutes for now. No burning just eagle claw leaves.

No burn - yet. Still, plain water a day or two. And I must ask - why fuck around with coco? Make a 5 gallon DWC and stop working so much and get bigger plants. Make one for under $35 including a killer air pump.

What else are you feeding? There are nutrients that will spike or drop your ph with ease. For instance, I use Dyna Gro Protekt....that right there is a ph up on its own. It will provide silicate and raise the shit out of your ph. Hygrozyme does the opposite, it will lower ph.....maybe one of your nutrients is doing it....check ph before you feed. I think i also read somewhere if you have root rot it will throw your ph off too....

Edit: just found the pages in the Bible
