so one of the things I learned in Hope and Fury: MLK and the Media, is that agitators from outside the community/state are coming in, just like they are now it's their MO I guess..so you can see how MLK used peaceful protest to get the point across and rednecks weren't used to it..media also played a very important part in the chronicle of this history- if you haven't seen I recommend.
