And the beat goes on.
Been in a back-and-forth with @Jimdamick about the magnitude of violence during the protests last weekend. He brought up the riots that literally wrecked entire blocks of central LA in 1992. The acts of vandalism and crime last weekend they were pretty tame compared to the riot back then. BUT, the LA riots took place after the trial of the cops that beat Rodney King returned a not guilty verdict . A "not guilty of murder" verdict for the sadist that killed Floyd just might result in similar damage. So, it's not over yet.

Folks gonna tear this mother fucker up if that happens. Probably worse than the L.A. riots because it’s going to be the whole country. They still need to get justice for the rest of these folks. This shit ain’t overView attachment 4584716
"This shit aint over"

That's what I'm thinking too.

Did you see the expression and attitude displayed by the murderous cop when he was torturing and murdering Floyd? Right in front of a crowd. It's as if it were an act intended to provoke that. Am I being paranoid?

Imagine if the 4 idiot cops get soft sentences.... They will have to be “ sacrificial lambs “ for justice for any justice to be solved.

Certainly people should be outraged over what happened to George Floyd.

One thing I've noticed though, thousands of fear mask wearing protesters, many with their masks pushed up on their forehead or dangling from their neck, walking shoulder to shoulder and shouting in close proximity to each other. Does that mean we can come out from under our beds and the corona virus hoax is over now ?

Should all those lockdown violating protesters be charged with assault or even murder if they cause somebody to "get this dreadful disease" ?

Is this really really scary virus (sarcasm) actually compassionate and does it know not to attack protesters "doing the right thing" ?

Would it be more consistent if the protesters had a mass "mask burning" to show their disdain for the inequities of the lockdown horse shit or am I missing something?

Anybody?

Justice should be proportionate to the crime.

Isn't it ironic that the alleged reason George Floyd was stopped was "counterfeiting", yet
trillions of "counterfeit" U.S. dollars were just "borrowed" into existence by the bankrupt and corrupt owned United States ?

You probably won't hear a peep from the owned media about that ironical injustice, since most people won't have any idea what I'm talking about until it's too late.

No, you are being ignorant. The reason why murders like this happen, albeit disproportionately to black people, is because the present Policing model has a captive base for their funding. It is based in force, from the get go! Right now, YOU are paying for this shit.

Sure the cops in this situation are fucked and will be punished (as they should be) but that won't change the systemic problem. These kinds of murder will happen again and again and again, until the root of the inequity is severed. The root problem is Policing is a forcible monopoly and it shouldn't be.

Anytime there is a forcible monopoly, there is no incentive for the beneficiaries of the monopoly (cops and their masters) to change their behavior. Too bad you don't understand what an actual free market is and how competition and customer feedback would serve to reduce atrocities like the murder of George Floyd.

Some guy who usually posts fight videos.
Whatever.

Facebook's videos are an unreliable source of information. I didn't watch them. FB is flooded with disinformation paid trolls and so anything coming from that source is suspect. Zuckerberg is making money from it so it's unlikely they will ever be reliable. I think we agree that the civil unrest this weekend was just a harbinger of what will happen if Floyd's murder ends up with not guilty verdicts. Inflammatory videos, on the other hand overstate what happened last weekend.

The videos speaks for themselves. If it weren’t for Facebook and other social media these situations would go unseen. I think Facebook is a very reliable source of information so long as you fact check what you’re looking at. A lot of these high power cops have been fired as a result of a FB video or racist/violent post.
