i am not sure what is going on with my plant (help)

hi, i am growing plant for first time, this is an auto sour diesel, every thing was going good for 2 weeks this is 3rd week and i transplanted from cup to the pot, at first it was still ok just little droopy for couple days, but yesterday i sprayed homemade neem oil/dishwashing soap/water/ pesticide because i was getting some bugs and whiteflies on it. but today in the morning when i checked my plant it looked totaly down like this

please look on the pictures and suggest me what happened and what should i do to recover this?

thanks

I don't know bro but it looks like it didn't like what you sprayed on it. Especially if everything was ok before you did that.

If that was my plant I'd be rinsing that stuff out of the pot and off the seedling right away but your soil may be far too wet to flush yet.

I don't think you should spray anything again unless it's shop bought and actually meant to be sprayed on plants.

Dishwater soap might be something that will get rid of bugs but it can't be good for any plant.

How much did you spray , did you saturate the soil too or just a couple of quick squirts on the seedling?

Have you been feeding nutes , if so how much. What's the ppm's or EC and what's the pH of your soil?

What type of soil you using?

All this info will help others diagnose and direct you in what to do next.

I agree with the above. When you transplanted, did you sprinkle any root hormone powder on the roots before placing it in the new pot? A lot of people don’t, but it helps tremendously with the shock of the plant being moved to a new home. Not that I suspect this is the reason why your plant looks the way it does. If it was fine before the foliar spray, I think that pretty much points to the culprit. I assume you are growing outside if you have that significant of a bug issue to make you spray them down.

i read this online to get the buggs off and i think you are right the plant didnt like that spray, i am growing in coco peat and i actually sprayed it a lot just so i can get rid of the pests. i havent tested my soil/medium but the water i give is 5.8 ph. the only thing i was feeding my plant recently was some homemade nitrogen with water i was about to start other nutes by this weekend. cz my potting mix already had npk nutrients in it

yes i am growing it outside and i have not sprinkle any root hormone powder on it as i had no idea about it yet

You could flush her out and let it dry out before watering again , if your soil has nutes in I'd wait a bit before adding any of your own because it may be to strong for it and you might burn it.

I'm not a soil grower so can't exactly say what you should do with Coco but if you flush with ph'd water (unsure of the correct pH for Coco) you test the water runoff and that will show you if pH is too high or too low or spot on.
Do you have a ppm ,EC pen to also test the runoff coz that will show you the amount of nutes in your soil.

You should see an improvement a few days after you flush that out anyway bro, hope you get thinks back on track.

I looked bro but can't find anything, only thing I see from your profile was the posts here.
Did you post in plant problems yeah. Can you bump it back up to top of the list for me so I can find it please.

Thanks

Maybe admin took it down, they do that sometimes man and don't say why.
I know if it's posted in multiple places they usually delete or tell you not to.

Looks like it keeps getting removed. I guess I'll just post it here. Thank God I saved the text lol.

I've been having constant issues with my two plants ever since I started. I had them in a dwc with no problems the first week and now constant deficiencies that I can't fix. I'm completely new to growing but I have a lot of knowledge on the subject. I will post everything with pictures, please help me get my girls growing!

I have tried everything at this point tho. When I started to notice the issues, I restarted with distilled water and half the amount of nutrients recommended. I then would add small doses of cal mag or nitrogen or calcium or whatever I could until a change, but nothing. Both of my plants suffered a nutrient lockout when my dumbass started with max nutes and fresh out the tap water. When I finally got my pH and TDS meter in the ppm's/EC were at 1800/3.6!! On top of that was root rot from some fungal infection from pests and I ended up have to cut it entirely from its roots and treat as a new clone now. The one pictured is recovering from root rot and just moved from a DWC to an aeroponics setup. Currently it's just in spring water with 110 ppm and 6.1 pH at 69 degrees. What are some recommendations for my feed amounts and what can I do to fix these damn leaves?

In Dwc for seedlings start them on about 5ml each part ,if you use a 2part nutrient that is. It shouldn't be strong for the first few days after it sprouts.

What nutes do u use?

After a few days to a week add a little bit more, not 5ml each part this time tho ,maybe 2-3ml.
Once it gets bigger youl see it feeding (ppm's will drop slightly)
Once you see it drop slightly every day you know you're on the right track.

If ppm's rise every day or anytime you check then the mix is too hot and u should dilute the solution.

For roots and to prevent rot I'd suggest keeping Res temps below 24c and getting some Rhino Skin from advanced nutrients and something like great white powder. Great white is mychorziae which help protect roots. I only add 5ml Rhino skin to 15litres of water and if I was using great white powder I'd only add the tip of a sugar spoons worth each time I changed the Res.
Rhino skin is a silica which plants need to grow big and strong and it also protects the plant from pests and bacteria.

I use advanced Nutrients tarantula liquid which is expensive , it's nearly 25 pounds for 250ml but it works well.

If the plant roots youl be ok just keep her on a light feed until it does tho , 200ppms will be ok until she roots. Snip the tips of all the leaves about a quarter of leaf. It stops the plant putting effort into fattening out it's leaves so it will then concentrate on rooting. Keep it humid or spray water on it now n then and you should be fine. Hopefully in about 7to14days youl have roots again.

If you want , and if you can't get hold of mychorziae powder/liquid then try and get 3% hydrogen peroxide from a chemist.
Sometimes it's needed but you don't add alot. It's better to read up on h2o2 (peroxide) and find out about the application and how much to add. It's been a while since I had to use it so I'm not the best to ask really.

only use peroxide for root rot if you can't get hold of the other stuff , you can also use it to clean your equipment like airstones n airlines n that way you won't be adding the bad bacteria back into the Res.
For cleaning all that stuff 1 capful of bleach in hot/warm water will also kill bad bacteria so soak your equipment before setting things back up just incase.

Your leaves won't repair themselves if there burnt but the new growth will be fine so I wouldn't worry too much just now about the condition of the now clone. She will sort herself out once she gets some roots again.

Hope this helps.
If not let me know.
If there's anything else you need to know just ask bro and if I can help I will.:bigjoint:

What brand of nutes are you using?
What water will you be using for the rest of the grow?
How old are the plants?
Can you post some pics of the whole plants and the setup?

Thank you guys so much for quick responses and knowledgeable information that's actually useful! Okay so I just finished my aeroponics setup and I'm loving the concept way more than dwc. A lot less water with direct feeding to the roots every 30 min. But unfortunately I'm still not having any nutrient uptake.

1. I'm using new millennium nutes, full product line called the P.E.P Pack. (Went to a local hydroponic store with the intention of purchasing the cheapest nutes and the owner gave me this $350 box of nutrients!)

2. I'm currently using purified water that sits at a low 35ppm and a pH of 7.2. I also just realized I have sparkling lemon and grapefruit water which I thought would be beneficial to aiding in the root rot recovery. It adds a shit ton of c02 to the plant and stays bubbling on the old roots for awhile. The sparkling water sits at 55ppm and a pH of 4.2.

3. The plants are now around 4 weeks old ( 2 weeks old from the dispensary, 2 weeks of hell with me.)

4. After watching tons of videos on YouTube (mainly from watching Seed to Stone) I thought I was capable of doing the High stress training and low stress training on the plants to get those perfectly even looking stalks for maximum yield! So dumb of me .

5. I decided to do the pruning and LST on the blue dream so essentially I removed the fan leaves shading the new growth and then started tying down the main stem and rotating it to get everything at the same height. (Again this was a horrible idea but I guess I need to find out if I continue the lst or release it and leave it alone.)

6. I decided to top the Vanilla Frosting after hours of research and methods used. I cut the plant 1/4 inch above the Third node as stated and shown in every video. I then tied the 4 main stems down to keep them horizontal while they grew to create the even spacing. (This method was by far the most detrimental effect on a plant and will never be attempted again.) After cutting my plants head off and expecting her to love that , she went into complete shock and stopped all growth. After 3 days, the slightly discolored roots turned gray brown with a nasty foam and slime build up. I flushed her out and cleaned the setup and started my nutes over at half the amount. When I woke up, all of her leaves had wilted completely and encased her main stalk like she was dead and done.

7. Instead of tossing her out, I made a cut right above her old roots and placed in a cup of water with peridoc misting. I trimmed all leaves back to 25% (25% left! Not 25% cut like I should have done! ) Needless to say, this has been a fucking learning experience)

8. My blue dream is growing again but new growth is randomly discolored with burnt tips on maybe 30% of the new growth.

9. Now the issues I'm having with the nutes is not being able to add even a third of the amounts recommend without raising my ppm's to 700-800! I am also having to adjust pH with the pH down almost twice a day. The water temp is never an issue as it stays right at 69f (20.5c) but the nutrients seem to be very high in total dissolved solids. I also don't know which ones and how much to add when I notice a deficiency. My nutrient rich water is currently at 733 ppm at 6.3 pH. This number has been the same for the past 24 to 36 hours so I take it, it's not feeding.

10. I'll attach a bunch of before, after, and current photos in the next response. Please give me a few hours to upload them.

Has your water level dropped any over the last day?
It may still be too hot yet so if no improvement or the ppm's rise by tomorrow try quarter strength or just add water n bring it down to about 400ppms.
i don't know anything about your nutrients so not sure how to go about directing you using them except keep em low and for now don't do anything else to the plants till they start growing again. Fingers crossed they do something with the ppm's so you can tell if it's too strong or not.

i suspect it might rise because your now seeing burnt tips , the pH fluctuations can be normal but was it shooting up or down.
