is a more fragrant smell immediatly a better weed? I'm going to be honest I have only smoked dirt weed and I want to try some good stuff. Someone I know has some that has a powerful smell to it (in the bag I mean). Any way of enlightenment is much appreciated

smoke the biggest bowl of ur shit weed then smoke a normal snap of the dank stuff ur buddy has and ull be able to see the dif instantly...just try the danks ull never go back

ussualy good smelling weed is good. I have smelled some stuff that smelled good but was not good.

You've never smoked chron? The first way to tell is by the pungency of the aroma, and texture is another dead giveaway. Individual nugs are usually more solid in chronic. Chronic is usually a lighter green than most dark green/brown stress. Chronic doesn't have seeds, and many very good types of chronic have hairs on them, usually white or red

My advice to you would be to get chronic through a friend who you know well and you trust not to rip you off. Study the smell, texture, and every other aspect of it so that you won't get ripped off when you buy it on your own

Not neccesarily, but usually if it smells better it is better. But no, not always.

Gotta say, some of the best shit i've smoked had no smell whatsoever.

well Ive been getting this stuff from a guy and it's pretty good stuff. extremely green and smells pretty fragrant. I'm kind of a puss so 2 hits and I'm pretty baked. This stuff my friend has is called carmalicous and its extremly fragrant. But not so green though so thats why I'm a little skeptical. I assumed that what I had been smoking was dirt weed but perhaps I'm wrong. Newbie after all

Yeah that sounds like chron to me, otherwise 2 hits probably wouldn't do it for you. How much are you paying for an eighth or a gram or whatever amount you usually buy?

That's good advice. Often the best way to tell dank from stress (before smoking) is simply appearance

The stuff I had been getting was very green so it was pretty good. Now that I see that it actually has been listed on that page I hope I can put this better to ease but u never know

If you were paying 40 an eighth than it should be what is considered "chronic, hydro, bomb, dank" or somthing on that order. "dirt weed" aka schwagg has seeds in it and it all compacted up with the leaf and everything. It is usually really hard and dense and doesnt taste very good usually. Im sure his shit is relatively the same as yours. Maybe allittle better, maybe allittle worse, but i doubt it will be a huge difference. Unless his is some super special stuff that is.

$40/8th aint bad. If I was selling good stress to an inexperienced smoker as chronic I definitely wouldn't make up a bullshit name. I would probably pick an actual type of chron that my stress resembled and could probably be passed off as to your average stress smoker. You're probably in the clear, but just because the name he gave you exists isn't reason to believe that it's chronic that he's selling you. I'd still be a bit wary if I were you and try buying from another source and comparing the appearance, smell, and high

the source definately wouldn't make anything up. I know him well but Im not positive he knows what he has. Everyone esle I've talked to said it was great. The stuff I had been getting was seedless. The picture I checked on here looked similar to what he had in the bag in the color (but it wasn't as shiny due to be drying out). Anyone here tried this stuff before? Long shot but just curious

Many indoor growers use ionizers and ozonators. This eliminates a pungent odor from some really dank weed. There are some very good buds that aren't very olid.
