King, you should think about mixing your own nutes up. I have read that H&G is some pretty good stuff but then there are some people that say it works just as good as anything else. hmmmmmm my local hydro shop doesn't carry it yet but if he ever does start to carry it I might give their bloomers a shot.
Hey thanks max, i been thinking about that and a few other options. To be honest i went with biobizz cause they were organic and recomended. Yer they are good but i feel like i want a fert that works for my area and tap water without all the extra supplements. Trying to keep it as simple as possible but its a big market out there and to be honest too many choices.
I am mulling over the idea of going totally organic with bat guano and a few other similar amendments but am so undecided that i seem to be holding off for a while. How do you choose from hundreds of products! Anyway the dutch and local UK companies seem to be more assecible these days since the trend to grow your own veg at home and i have a much wider choice than a few years ago.
After my cal/mag escapades i want to look into ferts in more detail, you and a few others have really peaked my intrests and blown away the old NPK ratios and what i thought was right. Sh!t man my plants are loving the nitrogen for flowering, greening them up a treat and almost all the plant looks healthy right up till the end. Every time i look into somthing my plants improve, really enjoying myself recently but still some problems to work through. The fine details of growing weed need a science degree to understand but luckily i have this site and you guys to make me think outside the box a bit more.
In time i will make a new purchase of ferts but until then i still got a third of a litre of bio grow and bloom. Seaweed is my best weapon, kicks ass on the trace elements and really seems to compliment most ferts. I am seriously tempted to buy one bottle of ferts, even NPK like 8:8:8 and see how that goes for a whole grow, veg and flowering but i need to stop experimenting as i have yet to dial my grow in.
As for this thread i am really loving those big buds, the plant looks like some runty spindly thing until you see them fat colas on top, looks like its gona be a good yeild.
