One of my QK's leaves turned purple without a big temp swing,I don't see any purple leaves.

My sativa pheno started to show purple last night. in the short leaves. I took these pics last Thursday before I left out of town. I chopped 2 9 lb's and dire wolf thursday. Everything else is going another week- 70 days. Scotts og pheno and jilly will be going 77 days.

My purple QK turned out to be the week one at 19% THC and wasn't that flavorful. The second one that stayed green and tested at 28% was very tasty too.

it s just half of a few sugar leaves turned purple. This one is producing bigger buds than anything. the other pheno is far more frosty., pretty good size buds but not as big but denser. We'll see what the clones do next round. Clones almost always grow different from seeds. probably run 12/12 straight through next round. Either way. could keep it for a cross down the line for a big yielder.

did you use uv and cure before testing?

No UV and grown under Cree BR30's,only cured maybe a week at most after it was jarred before the test.

uv can increase thc and cbd by a few percentage points. Curing also increases thc to a point. As decarboxylation takes place and chlorophyll is deplettng, the thc will increase. Converting THCA to THC. Letting it cure for a month could have had better results when testing.

the two qk I chose to go indoor are def sativa. kinda fun to veg with. one of the indica 9lb is hardcore indica, short and thick leaves, wish I kept it, the sativa 9lbs are getting tall, very Christmas shaped. all cuttings died, as I expected lol, overall im liking all these strains outdoor.

not sure how I want to rearrange everything

they are all dead though. i shhok off a bunch of dead flies last thurs. yeah Im done with vegan. Ive said that several times. 'Me and one of my buddies figured out where the whit floe are coming from. We think they are in the premier peat moss bales. h e has white flies all over his garden and didn't prior to grabbing that peatmoss.. so i must amend with lots of compost

Are you running those A51s in your Veg space, I don't see them here. I was interested in doing an LED supplemented Induction grow, more than just the pontoons, but am unsure what to use to cover the footprint of the EFDL lamp.

the a51 is in flower. Was over 2 5gals. 9lb hammer Jesus og pheno and jillybean. Check older posts.

I have an inda gro in veg. Temporarily throwing the a51 into veg next batch . The ig has more coverage for flower. When I complete building my cobs , then a51 will go back into flower

3-4 a51 rw 150's will match the foot print of an inda gro.
 
Ah, Ok. I had just come to that post via search. I see that now. How do you feel about using LED for side supplemental lighting for that Indagrow? Would it be overkill, or could you perhaps fill in the blanks with what the IG is lacking with specifically targeted LED panels and really get a monster grow?

actually the led is missing more than the inda gro. UV and IR. With pontoons. The ig has more 660 deep red and IR at lights out. Induction with pontoons no supplemental light is needed. Personally I like ig more than a51. But I only have 1 panel to compare. It would be more fair comparison if I had 3 panels. Rw should outperform the sgs. The inda gro does have a higher cri than a51. Imo high cri is as important as par if not more so. Having a more even spectral distribution will have better results. DIY cobs are a great option too. High cri, high par. Very efficient.. Less watts than a51. Very inexpensive to build too.

If you would be so kind, could you dumb down the vegan soil theory for me? I have yet to really comprehend the theory because iv never really had it explained to me. Why is Vegan better/worse than a supersoil type base? Is there a decent site as far as literature goes if its not a simple answer? I can bust out a hydro run in any set up, same goes for a generic soil/synthetic run, modified super soil is great, what are the benefits/drawbacks of vegan?
