Well at least you own it, but the rest of your assertions in this thread are garbage.
You posted lights that are HLG clones. Literally rip offs of their board design that they spent R&D engineering money to design. Your "vet" buddy is a thief who should spend his own money to be original. In case you didn't know, literally anyone can buy those in bulk on Alibaba and add their own logo. How would you feel if you invented some super awesome motorcycle part that revolutionized the industry, and a bunch of scammers started cloning your invention and then calling you greedy? To each their own, buy what lights you wanna buy. I am sure they grow great herb. I just hate fakes and frauds. Until you post your "vet"'s USA factory, all evidence points to him being a liar.

Also, LH301H is in no way any different than LM301B. B measures output in Lux for the lighting industry, H is in μmol/J for Horticulture. Marketing terms for different industries. Exact same production line, different packaging.
Where do you see the word Factory ???

Are you gonna go on every DIY thread & you tube Video that resembles a quantum board and tell the person not to build there own light because HLG designed it? Your just being a keyboard warrior. So if someone offered you a Let’s say a Cobra 427 Replica you would turn it down because it’s a copy of an Awsome car . Stop and listen to yourself.

LEDs from a company who orders directly from and is an official dealer of Samsung called Future Electronics. The LEDs are top bin and so far i havent had any of them burn out on me in 3 years now. Drivers are from meanwell and heat sinks from USAheatsink. That tells me they are not sourced from Alibaba. Guys a veteran trying to raise money for his wife’s cancer
We all have problems.

Reading is fundamental bro. I specifically said, to each their own. If people want to buy those lights and assemble them, be my guest. Not my preference for reasons stated. What I was calling out was your falsehood that your "vet" is manufacturing the PCB boards himself in the USA. I am going to give you the benefit of the doubt that you were naive, and that you got duped by this "vet". I am willing to admit I am wrong if you can post evidence of this. Until then? #FAKENEWS.

I also specifically took issue with your calling HLG greedy. I am not a keyboard warrior, I just love realness, and hate fakeness. I see too much of this misinformation on here, when in reality is, the CEO of HLG takes his time out to come on RIU and collab with us all, teach us about LED tech, and generally runs an awesome company with great customer support.

So when I see someone come on here, diss him and his company, and then tell us we should support a "vet" whose "wife is dying of cancer"? Fake news bro. 0% believable, and 100% insulting to those of us with family members with real chronic medical conditions. I call it like I see it.

Oh maybe I missed the part where someone was giving these knockoffs away for free. My bad.

Just to check yourself, you did put "quantum board" in the thread title, which is a specific brand name invented and trademarked by HLG.

I respect your opinion and I haven’t even bought one so no one got duked and I never said he assembles his own boards. And yes maybe my comment about hlg was nieve. Should have never said that. The fake news on the wife is false. So your guilty of the same thing I am. I’ve got to know this guy threw emails never buying a thing from him. I asked him specificity if he buys these from alibaba and puts his logo on them. Again I’ve bought nothing from him. We have a common interest and that’s one of our loved ones are dying of cancer. We keep in touch on a regular basis to update each other on treatments and progress going on 4 months now. I met him from him buying parts from me not him trying to sell me a light. So don’t make comments you know nothing about. Pretty fucked up thinking someone would make up there wife Is dying.

Anybody ever use these lights. Replica of HLG / 550 v2r

They also come with the new Samsung 301h which lights a little more intense than the 301b. I can’t find anything on YouTube. USA made and plug and play. No assembly required. Under $600 shipped compared to HLG $860View attachment 4548360View attachment 4548361View attachment 4548362

Yeah the company that spent all the time and money on R&D is greedy. the guy (you) that copies them jumps on a forum and tries to sell lights without paying to be an advertiser totally isn't the greedy one....what's your markup if your not greedy you have no problem telling us what your margins are.
where do you see me trying to sell something. I said I was thinking about becoming a dealer for them and I own I was wrong Saying HLG was greedy. My bad. To many Jack and cokes. I own that I was wrong

If I was wrong, I apologize. Also really sorry to hear that your family member is suffering from cancer. I wish them the best and hope for full recovery.

To give context and defend my statement, I have seen plenty of people make up and say shit that is straight up fake and false and prey on medical cannabis users, so I have reason to think that. My son has Crohns disease and I have had tons of ppl PM me on various social media trying to shill, and it infuriates me. Seriously. Some slimy fuckers out there. And generally, when people are lying about one thing, I believe nothing else they say.
