hydroton turning green....

hey guys, this isn't my first tour of duty with hydroton, but it seems that everytime i've used it, it always turns green...no matter how cleen i keep my tables. Is this normal??? I've always had good sized and potent yields, but i can't keep from wondering if this is holding me back in some way...thanks for the input!

its just algea and too much will hold u back but algea can be good in some cases

any recomendations for keeping it to a minimum?....a couple of grows back, it seemed out of control. This my largest grow to date and I'm just trying to do some damage control. Thanks for the help.
