But as I’ve said, fixing the light leaks is not possible nor practical for my particular setup. For reasons that are not relevant to the discussion.
Im looking to eliminate the algae via a product that can be added to the solution. Let’s keep the thread centered around that.

What would that be, care to elaborate? If the system is poorly designed, you change it. If you still can't operate it successfully you have to change your own methods and viewpoint.

This is what I suggested seams easy enough.
It’s pretty simple. Moving water is aerated water. Thus how DWC or any easy cloner works.

I can see why you’d think so. Because it was the first thing I thoughtve doing long ago. But there are variables that make it impractical. Just gonna have to take my word for it on that.
The chlorine seems like the best long term solution. It works in swimming pools despite plenty of light.
