1st grow, pretty impatient
Heres the set up... very similar to sunlight shed models, that what I was going for..
First, the plants streched as I mistakenly sprouted them in a cloning dome. They cant exactly support themselves. They kind of can but its pretty ugly. So I cut some drinking straws in half, then sliced them down the middle vertically so I could open them to put around the stems. Put them around all my girls. Also added an extra fan, for a grand total of four fans, of which one blows directly on them. Hopefully this will resolve the streching issue.
Second, Im pretty sure Ive overwatered as there is some serious drooping and growth has slowed dramatically. Its painful to watch these grow so slowly. I had the drip set at 24/7, but have gradually reduced it to a half hour every 3 hours. So 2 1/2 hours off then a 1/2 hour on. Hopefully this will resolve the drooping issue.
Also, after the first adult leaves were grown I added some peroxide to the res, probably 5-10x too much by the way. This was bad! It burned the shit out of my plants, but whatever theyre still alive, lesson learned. Emptied the res and refilled it with tap water, ppm roughly 130's. Im keeping the PH in the 6's and the PPM has always been in the 500's. Im really worried here because the plant that was doing the best, BC, has now gone to hell. It started as a slight yellowing and drooping. Now, the entire bottom, first set of adult leaves, not the cotleydons, have completly gone yellow and are getting crispy. The tips of these leaves are also curling up. On a positive note, the plant is growing new leaves, but they are not getting as large as the bottom, still drooping, no curling though. The tips of the skunks are also yellowing, very minimal. I know this isnt heat stress too many fans and afterall im using LED's. Mg defiency seems to be to easy of a fix, but I added a tablespoon of epson salt just to be safe, no other nutes added. Im pretty clueless on this one.
The growth of every plant is painfully slow. I need some serious help. Any tips or advice would be appreciated.
