Hydroponic Cloning Question

Hey was wondering about a hydroponic cloning tecnique that uses a fish tank, air pump/ air stones, and a type of styrofoam tray....

I have everything except the styrofoam trays. Go figure

So, does anyone have any suggestions as to an alternative way of floating my clones or do i have to go out and buy some ground beef to get the black styrofoam tray that its sold on haha!

Just drill holes in a plastic sheet and slide the cuttings through. You can also use cardboard wrapped in seran, or a whole host of other ways.

I don't know about using a fish tank... water + light = alge & other crap.
