With aeroponics, the problems begin with the jet heads blocking with salt build ups. If you are up for weekly H2O2 clean out flushes, go with aero! With bubblers, the down side is the noise of the pumps and the bubbles breaking the water surface, they drive me insane! For simplicity, ease of use, maintenence and results, I dont think bubblers can be beaten. It is a proven fact that plants grow faster when they are correctly hydrated and have a permanent supply of air & nutrients. Bubbleers every day of the week for me, even with the noisek, you just cant ignore the results! Peace W

Aero system.

They're essentially the same system, once the roots get long enough in the aero system they're
gonna be submerged just as they would in the dwc system. At least with the aero system you
can also use it as a cloner and get the benefits of aero as well as DWC. Just throw an airstone
and pump on it and your there.

The heads wont clog for a while, and even if they do they come out easily enough
and a toothpick and about 3 minutes of your time can have them cleaned out and
running like a champ again.

okay cool, and the system has a air stone included and i am choosing on nuts i was wonder what type that is cheap but has good proformance with it i was going to get ADV nuts. and i was also wondering whats a good water cycle to run it on to. and will it work for seedlings as well can i just put them in there after germination and let them do there thing or do they have to have roots?

everyone has there own way of doing things but in the end most of the time the results are the same, this is how I do it,first I get some rockwool cubes or some of those little peat pots the ones that exspand when you put them in water,I germinate my seeds in wet paper towels,as soon as they sprout a little white tap root I put them in the rockwool or peat pots with ph 6 water then I put them into my net pots with small river gravel I dont use any nutes just yet once I get roots stating to show I give them 200 ppm nutes,I use general hydrponics brand of nutes, also I dont think one airstone will be enough for your res I have 8 airstones in my res running off of 2-4 outlet air pumps my water looks like its boiling also keep your ph at 5.8 and your res temp between 60 and 75 deg. this is just my method of doing things and will work for you also if you have never grown in a hydro setup before get yourself a book or do some research here before you start, this is just scratching the surface on hydro,I have made a few mistakes along the way but I have learned from them also as you will to good luck

I would avoid advanced if your budget is of concern, I used them for several years
and now that I'm off of their product my wallet and my plants are thanking me. I currently
use Dynagrow as they have a great base formula that's super easy to use, and has all
essential minerals needed for great quality bud.

For aero timing I would stick with 1 min on and 4 min off. This has given me the best results
over 15/15 30/30 and some of the other cheap home depot timers. Ebay has many listings for
cheap cycle timers that can get you to 1 min on 4 min off. Just make sure you get one that is
grounded as many pumps are 3 prong such as this one:

http://cgi.ebay.com/Repeat-Cycle-Timer-50-Sec-Intervals-Aero-Hydroponics-/220788938469?pt=LH_DefaultDomain_0&hash=item33680bd6e5

They're also pretty cheap and I'd recommend picking up 2 just in case. I have had one die on me now,
which was my own fault, but was still nice to have a second to pop in and be going again. Other cycle
timers are in upwards of 60 dollars and do the same exact thing for 3x the price.

Seedlings will work fine in either of those systems, just be sure not to fry them with nutes
or it will pretty much devastate them. Start off slow and steady and over time you'll have
a good grasp on things.

Yeah, like they said they are both the same thing, DWC.

Nutes, I dunno I think they're probably all pretty similar. I use something called "Ionic". For timing I use 1 minute on, 5 minutes off. The timers that do that are kinda pricey; if you want to get one of those cheaper timers with the 6 tabs per hour then you can go 10 min on / 10 min off. The pumps will keep a seed starter moist so its okay for seedlings / clones, but you might need to worry about a humidity dome if your clones aren't rooted yet, or just run the pumps constantly until they root.

EDIT - sorry I didn't notice Disposition's post before I answered...
