Hey all I'm running 5 plants ( 4 auto pots + 1 in bucket ) which lately seemed as if there were having nutrient deficiency as leaves were falling and the plant in bucket had brown spots on leaves....

I decided to recalibrate my ph + ec pens and do a flush and start fresh in the process when i got to the plant in the bucket i found the bottom of it was infested with GNATS which i was fighting previously with yellow traps and sand on top of pots which seemed to work but the GNATS have seemed to find there way into the bucket plant from the bottom i have now done a healthy layer of sand in the drip tray to stop them escaping but have lost my bug bombs and store didn't have any today.....

So to the point i picked up hydrogen peroxide solution 6% 20 vols but i can't find the correct dose for this type on google or any forums i been searching and searching anyone know the correct dose per litre?

i run 40 litres in my res which is mostly gone anyway... should i dump the feed and start a new so i know how much is going in or should i hand feed it?$_57.JPG

Well i use %35 at 1ml per liter with great results, not sure but I assume 5ml per liter at the strength would be the same concentration approximately.

i just found this schedule from somebodys post on this site actually so if i go 2pt water : 1pt peroxide this will take it to the 3% needed is the dose right though... paranoid about killing my plants so late on into flower... i can't do math ( school drop out ) haha

thats is only foliar though full link here sorry

1/4 cup per gallon at 6% is the safe amount. It should mostly dissipate within 24 hours

You can use it but i would recommend buying an actual h2o2 thats more for growing, 6% is kinda low when i was using it i was using a 35% solution. Im assuming you want a sterile environment, have you ever considered pool shock? Its 2 dollars for a bag that will last you years

basically I'm just looking to get rid of the gnats and any damage they have done with there access to the root zone.... i have put up some stick traps and blocked the entry ways to the pots with sand but afraid of the damage to the roots and larve still in there.... 6% is all i can find in my area at this time unless i go online.. and again i wouldn't find pool chlorine unless i went online as i live in the middle of nowhere

Bleach works pretty well if you can find it.

It's ok I started using the peroxide 6% 20 vol

2.5ml a litre on my cutting in veg
3.0ml a litre on the flowering plants

Seems to be working as seen a few dead and none flying about as of now anyway
