Anyone seen this ?

A gel based film that seems to only have 50 to 200micron holes in it apparently there using it with just a thin layer of fabric under it then thick plastic

The holes are so small only water and nutes are allowed in no bacteria

Looked pretty cool, would love to get hold of some to play with it

Crazy! Cool concept! I wonder how it would do with buds?

It grew some good size melons and nice tomatoes

I was thinking maybe a layer of film with the seeds on it then under that a thick layer of foam or rockwall, then another layer of film and your res/sprayers and such

That way no crap from the plants would get in your res so you`d have less cleaning to do

That`s my main problem with hydro, dwc causes less issues because there`s no moving parts but gets rot and needs more cleaning then other methods, flood and drain I find less hassle but it gets clogged up, then with coco and soil you have tons of coco and soil to dump after

So just a bag you pump nutes into in a box with the plants growing on top, that would be cool

If I had some I`d be making a bag out of it or something so I could get a bigger root ball

They must be using a layer of rock wall or something on the bigger plants there doing, I can`t see how else they`d get enough root mass to grow tomato plants that big and such ?

Yeah this is definitely a different take on growing. Let me know if you get your hands on some.
