when you say hydro-organic, do you mean organic medium and hydro nutes, or hydro medium(for excerated growth) and organic nutrients?
um, they do. 50% surface mulch, 50% native soil. been happening for millions of years.
mother nature is a fine women. she has this way of figuring what's best for the plant and then she goes with it. good woman.

I'm impatient, obsessive, and impatient. Also, I'm obsessive. I like looking in my cabinet every 30 minutes and seeing progress
Also, not having big rooms to work with or the availability of a safe outdoor grow area I have to concentrate on getting the most out of the least amount of space in the shortest period of time possible. It's taken my 4 grows, but I think I'm going to do really well this go round. 24 plants in an area 8.5' sq! Don't think I could have pulled that off with soil. I've tried.

I think I posted too hastily. My attempts at SoG soil weren't from clones and I vegged them waaay too long.
Well, you've previously convinced me that CFLs suck for flower...but I think it'll be hard to get me away from hydro since I've seen these insane growth rates. I have experienced the easily broken branches with hydro, but they were grown under CFL so...not fully convinced until I've gone a round with my hid. Maybe after a few dwc grows I'll be better educated.
watch this and listen closely when they talk about "Cannabis Cup" buds. something about soil being better. it's just Arjan so take it for what it's worth. lol. like it's weight in gold. ha ha

lol soil sux even he knows it. that was more than a year ago, and there has been a ton of new info and advances in the last year when it comes to hydro. but even still just listen to what he says @ 2:55. or @ 6:25,,,,and that my friends is why hydro can and will out grow soil 99% of the time.

You will also hear him say on the video for arjan's ultra haze that you will need to grow it in hydro to really get the most out of the plant.
He says that they were not going to use hydro because they want it to win the cup. I can't say if hydro tastes that much better or not but if its only a slight increment which i believe it to be, then the extra weed from hydro more than makes up for it.
