Hydro Question. PPM related

I am currently running a ebb & flow system. I use a blue lab guardian to measure my PPM. I have been noticing that my plants have been drinking more H20 than using nutrients. I refilled my res at 800 ppm (my water has a ppm of ~200) so I effectively only giving them 600 ppm on nutes. A few days later the PPM measured 1150. I was guessing that the plants would need more during heavy flower but I guess not.

Room is at 78 degree and I feed three times a day for 15 min.

My question is, can I just refill the water (or top off) to get back to 800 ppm and not add new nutes? Would I run in to deficiencies? I was planning on just refilling the res with new H20 and nutes bi weekly instead of weekly. No need in wasting nutrients if I can just top off.

I am running the GH 3 part series. Since I am in flower I am only using the micro/bloom.

I clean res's and renew nutes half way through grow. In between, I just top up the tanks and zapp with h202 every 2 weeks. That's my way anway.

Dont add any nutes as the plants drank only water. Just keep adding water to balance out the ppm at 800 or so.

Yes top off

If you top your rez off with water only, you'll have some PH fluctuations. Top your PH off with 5.8, PH corrected water. (my tap is 8.3, big difference from 5.8 )

As stated above.... Add back water then ph to your target range. If when you add back your ppm falls under your target
ppm range then add some nutes. Keep it green
