I Fuckn Hate It!!

My old man always craps on 2 me about how much trouble i will get in if im ever caught.
I only grow 4 plants in Coco, but he insists that it is "Hydroponic Majrijuana" and the penalties 4 it r worse because it shows that im a commercial grower or some crap. Lol.
Shits me to tears it does. But then again he is old and set in his ways.. Doesnt really understand the light cycles required to grow and the chemicals needed, but grew up on a farm so reckons he knows more than me. Lol.

I set him a challenge, gave him a Clone that was 2 weeks rooted and turned them as he put his outside in the shade (said they only want a few hrs light each day). My best plant was 5 1/2 grams and his didnt even reach 1/2gram at dry weight.
(These were very small plants for the purpose of the challenge).

After this tho still wont listen. Lol.

A friend of mine makes his own nutes, and sells them commercially. This is something I read on one of his ads-

"Technically, every type of farming is hydroponic (even soil) which is why Heavy 16 was designed to go on anything and everything. You can grow an indoor hydroponic crop AND water your soil vegetable garden and landscape outside with the same stuff. And it’s COMPLETE, meaning it contains ALL essential macro and micro elements making your produce MORE NUTRICIOUS and your indoor crops HEAVY and MORE VALUABLE at harvest."

I will have to ask him why this is, but the dude majored in botany/horticulture at cal poly...so im sure he knows what hes talking about. Ponder on that one.

Well I hope that was your typo and not something on the label. hehe.

You can buy an 1 part "Hydroponic" nutrient and water your soil with it. Look at Foxfarm Grow, they have a Hydro and a Soil line, only difference is the percentage of N - P - K as well the hydro is probably more "liquefied" so it doesn't clog shit.

His approach is a logical one. It's the 90/10 rule as I like to call it. It works with everything, buy it. lmao

That is some tight looking bud for sure. I’d like to see what a full ounce of this stuff looks like. Sounds like it’s some real hydro, or “Dro“, based on the chem flavor you mentioned. –Chubbs

fuckin' chubbs -
So you can grow NYC Dro in dirt and could still call it dro

Not according to the definition of hydroponic
hy⋅dro⋅pon⋅ics

  /ˌhaɪ
drəˈpɒn
ɪks/ Show Spelled Pronunciation [hahy-druh-pon-iks] Show IPA Use hydroponic in a Sentence

–noun (used with a singular verb
) the cultivation of plants by placing the roots in liquid nutrient solutions rather than in soil; soilless growth of plants. Compare aeroculture, geoponics (def. 2).

the good weed i grew for myself was not really grown hydroponicly. Still refer to it as dro. So what?
So you're calling it something it's not. Not that big a deal, if you don't mind being wrong

If you grew in soil - it's still 'technically' hydroponic.
How is it "technically" hydroponic if the definition of hydroponic is soilless growth of plants?

what the HELL was the point of all this?????
don't you guys have anything better to discuss than whether "HYDRO" is a strain or not
the smart people know that it isn't and we leave it at that, it's not worth the time explaining, is it??

First of all, this a marijuana growing forum, so this thread is completely appropriate.

Secondly, people come to this forum to learn. How are people who don't know "dro" isn't a strain ever going to learn if we don't talk about it because "smart people know". Smart people had to learn somewhere.

Finally, if you saw no point in this thread, why are you wasting your time and energy posting in it? Why not go do something you would deem productive?

Hydro is a Method, Not a Strain..
It's the same difference between Nationallity and Religion.
For instance some stupid ppl refer to all Middle Eastern as Muslim.

Or any hispanic is usually referred to as a Mexican . . . and most dumb white people have no idea why a person from El Salvador is offended when they call them Mexican

Only because most nations in the Middle East are under Islamic rule.
