Hydro-Couple First Timer Questions

That should be adequate lighting, but too many variables to predict ur yield right now.

You would probably find that light to be adequate. I would probably say the MH is fine but I would get some smaller CFL's and rig them up where they are almost touching the plants. Cfl's are bright but they don't have the range. good luck

yea i would like to use a cfl if possible just because theyre cheaper.

but i want to grow some fire, and spit tight hardball nugs if possible.

can i still get the quality/quanity i would get if i used MH?


is there any special ballast required for cfl?

this is what i was planning to run the bulbs in, but im not sure if i need a certain "wattage" lamp or if a basic one like this is good.

also could i run a 400w MH bulb through that ^^^^

U can get quality under mh, I just use for vegging then hps. Cfls are self ballasted I believe

so if i use MH ill be good?

if i use CFL's ill get tree, but ill will be bammer?

Using a mh will be fine yes, and cfls are great to add for supplemental side lighting.

what do you think about the lamp? basic but will it get er done?

Ya when I did my closet grow I used a few of those for side lighting, I also made a diy cfl light, had like 16 bulbs or sonethin..

how much did it cost you in lighting?

i was talkin more along the lines of a metal ahlide, will the lamp work?

just to stick a metal halide bulb in there, im workin with a budget lol

I'm not sure if it is rated to take the bulb.

or what about the adapters that you screw the bulb in than just plug it into an outlet.

do i leave the feed in all the time i was feeding for one light cycle then draining and adding plain water they keep almost dying i got a spray supercloset whats a good pump sschedule please help dont want my babies to die
