This is my first hydro crop in flower. it is 6 weeks in with Blue Dream and Northern Lights Special. I am happy with the plants so far, they are very forgiving. I noticed i under fed them for a while till i had a better feel for them but i am pleased with them for my first hydro run. I used Botanicare nutes. I liked them, they are easy to use and the plants seem to like it. I only used orca, pro grow, hydroplex and sweet for bloom, and just pro grow and orca for vedge. The first two photos are of the Blue Dream, The other 2 are the Northern Lights Special. :leaf:

I use a 1000watt HPS on a track. I run it 220 with a digital ballast because it uses less electricity. It covers a 4x8 table.
you know it doesnt use less electicity its still using 1000w your just using less amps;
electric company's charge by the kilowatt-hour not kiloamp-hour

Strange my electric bill went down when i changed it to 220. How do you answer that?

Did your house run less heat? More AC? Maybe you didnt feel like doing your laundry that much? Im just being a smart ass, there are plenty of reasons your electricity could be down.
This post provides nothing but comic relief! GREAT LOOKING BUDS PERIOD~~!!

You got me confused. You are on US 110 V power grid and you are using some kind of transformer to get 220 V and then run digital ballast on that?

just my I-phone, Here are some other photos from today. They are not as good of photos used my little digital camera. I harvested them today, they were tricomb covered. The Northern Lights Special produced a lot of bud and looks nice, smells skunky and sweet. Growing the Northern Lights it produced a funky skunky smell. The Blue dream was all i could ask for in a plant. They are very coated, the buds are hard like rocks and also produced a very nice amount. not sure on weight yet because i just harvested them. The Blue Dream does not have a strong smell, not really sure how to describe it but it is not strong. Can't wait for it to cure for a few weeks to try it out. I would highly recommend both strains for production and ease of growing. The leaf to bud ratio on the Northern Light Special was very good and it was extremely easy to trim. The Blue Dream was easy to trim but not as easy as the Northern Lights Special. Hope you guys enjoy.

My house has 110 and 220v, 220 goes to my breaker box then it splits off to 110 to most of the house. My clothes dryer is 220 and I ran 220 to my grow room, my house has a crawl space under it.
