hydro 1st timer in need of help!!!!

well i've decided to try hydroponics deep water culture method out but iam still lost on some things about it ive had many good grows with soil but i feel its time for a switch so plzzzzzzzzzzz help me with these questions

1. what are some good nutrients i should go with?

2. how long do the nutrients last and when should i change them ?

3. do you need to check the ph everyday?

4. and would florecent fixtures with growlux lights and sunlight lights and daylight lights all together be allright to grow with?

2. how long do the nutrients last and when should i change them ? Not a simple question. If you do not recirculate nutes (which makes no Fn sense, but it is a common practice) you simply add more fresh nutes to the rez.

3. do you need to check the ph everyday? It's a good idea. Not as necessary when you D2W, but keep an eye on clarity.

4. and would florecent fixtures with growlux lights and sunlight lights and daylight lights all together be allright to grow with? Just keep in mind you need separate spectrums for vg and flower

1.hydro ferts good brand like GH
2.good rule of thumb is top when needed, change every 2 weeks
3.as often as possible especially after res changes
4.fluros ok for vegging, hps for flowerng

5.you need to read a bit more
