Hybrids that can withstand 100 degree weather

I live in a really really hot place in California, where temperatures can reach up to 125 degrees and i was wondering what good hybrid strains out there can withstand such intense heat? ive grown many sativas here with great results. also indicas which i sprouted indoors late july and transplanted in early september to start the bud cycle, but i only get small harvest off them.

now i want to get the best of both worlds and have a plant that can withstand the heat and put me to sleep, lol.

so if anyone knows of a hybrid that can take the heat, let me know. if you can also let me know what the taste is like, budding time, thc content, etc.

that heat would kill most cannabis plants. i dont think there are very many strains that can stand constant heat stress like that, but if there is it will be a sativa. if you put them in the shade or not grow outside that would be more ideal than trying to find a strain that can handel temps like that. where are you in the desert?

yeah, im in the desert. ive grown sativas under shade before with great results. should i just stick to that?

Kaya Gold www.nirvanashop.com it'll nedd to be in the shade thou... nirvana has a full description on the sight but... fast flowering and with stands stresses very well... i grew outdoors in the mid-west a couple years back it got into 105 in july and some fuckin crazy wind... harvest was pritty nice decent taste body hed high mix...if u want knock out smoke harvest late.

thanks swagger, kaya gold looks like something that can take my areas hot ass killer heat. i will look into getting some seeds for this years harvest.

do you know of anything with more indica dominant traits that can also take the heat?

I'm in the desert of Cali. If your growing outdoors you should use a brown shade cover. Folded over a fince. Have it on the side the wind comes from. Here the wind comes from the south so I'd put it on the southside. Then add a drip system on top to wet the shade cloth. Works like a natural swampcooler. End of august stop the water. Buds will be forming and temps not so hot. Also don't have it in direct sun during the hottest part of the day. Here that's 1-3pm. But and this is a big BUT. Cali law changed. There is no more open outdoor alowed. That means if somebody can see it your busted. Plants must be kept in a green house that can't be looked into.

damn, i guess im going to have to set up a greenhouse before i start my new outdoor grow.

thanks for the heads up Warlock1369. do you know of any good indica dominant hybrids that can take the outdoor heat? or any good hybrid strain that grows good either indoor or out?
