how did the kaya gold turn out? yeild? smoke report?
Still growing, Stinks like crazy, a very pungent smell of kerosene "best I can describe it" most all the hairs are still white

and all trichs are cloudy. I think she has another week and a half probly. I will take pictures of everything tomorrow.

Supposed to frost here tonight so I guess I will see what strains can take the frost or not. If not I will harvest the ones

who cant handle the cold.

isnt short ryder an auto haha cause its huge!!!
LOL well it was supposed to be, but I am glad it got huge at this point, each one will have 3 to 5 ounces of the piniest

smelling green Ive grown. After touching the nugs my hands smell like I have been climbing a pine tree and are sticky with sap.

Gonna chop my White Widow today maybe, amber trichs are advancing very fast.

looks really good. i dont prefer pots but theyre impressive. saaweet!!
Ive never been a "pot" kinda guy either, I like to go strait in the ground and let her have leg room.

BUT, I am very impressed with the results out of pots and 5 gal buckets and my girls were safe and mobile all year.

Much less stressful in the end and IMO better quality than my past because they seem to get more of what I fed them.

I couldn't agree more brother. I had to move my plants several times this year for various reasons, and I'm glad I had buckets so I could. It stinks to have smaller yields with the buckets, but plant mobility (there's a funny sentence) can be key when inclement weather comes up, etc.

I too am impressed with the size of that Short Rider. I was seriously looking into doing a SR grow next year, but was curious about the how long from seed to harvest would be?

I guess I get SR and Lowrider mixed up a lot as far as their finish times.

Well as you can see "lol" mine didnt auto at all, but all in all from seed to harvest will be about 5.5 months or so.

When I grew the strain indoors it did much better on the auto part but only made about 23 grams per plant.

I give Nivana many props though, they resent my order of 10 Reg Short Rider seeds because these failed to auto

but I have no complaints what so ever. Give the strain a go, I think you'll like it.

My yeild is much much lower this year than any other but quality is top notch.

That's cool man, I respect quality over quantity.

5 1/2 months is a while for an auto strain though...but again, you got huge plants out of it, so in the end that's all that matters. :-)

I might give a 10 pack a try next year, but I really wanna try a Lowryder 2 strain like this: http://www.cannabis-seeds-bank.co.uk/lowryder-seeds/lowryder-2/prod_259.html

It's like 9 weeks from seed to harvest, which is impressive.

I like your Riders though; I'm sold on them for next year.

Finally trimmed the nugs from the stems on SR #1, gave the nugs a good trim over and weighed... Ended up

making 5 ounces and a qtr. SR# 2 should be ready to jar this afternoon, should make about the same from just looking. Will

know for sure later tonight I guess.
