Huntsman - I wish more Republicans would look at this guy

There are some real whack jobs in the GOP Primary that have no business even applying for the position of President but this guy walks the walk. I don't understand why True Republicans aren't rallying around this guy. The Tea Baggers are going to follow that Bachmann disaster but I would thing Jon would appeal to Reagan Republicans. He is the most qualified candidate in the GOP field.

My prediction is a Romney/Huntsman ticket in the General. Think the GOP can handle 2 Mormons?

Huntsman? I like his, “I’m not a supporter of ethanol subsidies.” comment. That's it though.

edit: I'm sorry, you asked for Republicans... I just noticed that, sorry.

That would be a no. There is no way in Hell we will ever have a Mormon president. America will never be ready for that.

LOL. Is that you making fun of the things people said about Obama? I think so. The LDS religion is pretty main stream now, not cult status like it had 75 years ago. Besides, so few people really care about the presidents religion anyway. At least I don't, guess I can't talk about others.

The prez and/or vice prez will be from Texas or Florida in order to secure these states. Florida especially.
They do not want someone who can't even carry their own state (Gore)
This is my whacked opinion any-who

Cain scares me now... I was a supporter until he started in on drug prohibition being constitutional. During an interview, he tried to justify this by citing the Declaration's "life, liberty and the persuit of happiness", and then explains that drugs are counter to the persuit of happiness, and therefore should be banned. With abortion I disagree, but respect his stance; he stood by it on principle when applied his stance to those who are raped and incestuous as well. However, when you try to warp the Constitution with subjective interpretation, I'm out... I don't agree with the popular election of senators or the income tax, but I'm not about to advocate states start appointing their senators again and people stop paying income tax until we have an amendment.

He's already starting to play politician with just a few short months of campaigning behind him. John Stossel had to hammer the hell out of him to get a straight answer on the abortion issue. The question was asked probably 5 or 6 times. It was very disappointing to watch.
