Hungry, defenciey or overwatered

Hey guys just after some advise on what my problem is here it's progressing up the plants.
There clones growing in a 70/30 coco perlite mix watering every 2 or 3 days at ec 1.0 ph 5.8, pots are way to big so taking ages to dry out a little even just watering a circle around the plant.

Might be the pot tbh. Small pots are better for coco imoe.

I realize the large pot doesn't help here, but the pots should ideally be draining each watering.

5.8 isn't "bad" for coco. Though you may consider raising it, very slightly, if nothing else seems to help.

I think most of your trouble is the pot.

Yeah I do regret putting them straight into the final pot as it was all I had but surely it can work, I don't think I should try move them into smaller pots now just going to stress them out even more. I can't figure out if there hungry or overwatered or something else is going on? The holes I believe are from a caterpillar I found in there.

I wouldn't worry about the cut leaves.. they were destined to die when they were cut. Cutting the leaves on clones only opens up wounds for pathogens to enter and infect the plant.

You gave us an EC.. but didn't say what you were feeding it... unless I'm THAT high.

That clone is either flowering, or came off early in flower stage.. which is it? you going 12/12 already?

I really do agree that as small as that clone is.. we should be seeing the rim of the pot in the pic there. Looks like you bit off more than you can chew Red.. But answering those questions can help us get our heads out of the clouds lol

No I haven't checked the run off yet I'll do it next watering in couple days. Them burnt bits seem to happen as the leaf gets lighter in color them burnt bits slowly move in.

I'm feeding with house and garden Cocos a and b.

I believe they came off a flowing plant I have them on 18/6 With a sf2000 about 2.5 ft above at 60%.
Yeah the pots are 28l but there's a grate down the bottom so it would be more like 24l or so, I believe that's about 5gal

I don't think your pot is the problem I've sown seeds directly into 6 ltr pots a number of times, before going to any trouble run enough feed through the pot to get enough to measure the ec.

I am hoping it will turn back they where very early flower when I got them but the seem to be still budding. Your good luck comment doesn't sound like it's a good idea? no it's not a auto.

Ok I'll check runoff ec before I try anything

Yep, been there man. Much easier to do without perlite, but still possible if the pot is large.

Small pots are great, because you can easily water until runoff. And it aerates again nice and fast after watering.

There's ample free pot space.
More free space / coco = more water = more chance of salt accumulation. I got the impression from your first post, that you weren't watering until runoff.
Salt accumulation is likely what's happening, at a guess.

Make sure you drain to waste and be sure the waste ec is consistent with your input.
What kind of pots are they?
If they're airated pots, like rockets etc, once the roots hit the bottoms and get some air, they should take right off.
Also what size are they?

Looks like ya mixing ya feed to rich for me , 1.0 ec is a strong mix imo ,
I would maybe knock it down to say .6-.7 see how they go for a week and slowly increase .

If ya started in smaller pots ya would use less nutes . As ya started in the bigger pot ya gonna waste a lot of nutes and spend more money .

Yep. That setup + not running to waste would do it imo as well. I reckon you are correct.
