Humidity control

I am just about to get a 6x4x7 grow tent started up and we can hit 90-100% RH here even in the winter. Should I be buying a dehumidifier and if so what size should I go with? Thanks in advance.

Can we assume you yourself have a temp/hum gage with memory and you measured both in the place the tent is to be set up?

It is possible that you might not need one depending how much heat your lights put out and whether your space is AC-ed or not, in addition to your ventilation volume.

If you don’t dont cheap out on one. I picked up two smaller ones that are for bathroom sized rooms and they suck lol 80 bucks gone should have spent the money on good ones but my ac has been doing good keeping humidity down around 50%.

Dehumidifying a tent in a bigger room is impossible. Dehumidify the entire space. Figure the great water you recover is a partial payment for an adequate machine. Further don't worry about it during veg or even early flower.

Never tried a dehumidifier inside a tent. What happens, can you elaborate?

It pulls moisture through the zippers or other openings. You have to dehumidify the area the tent is in that seal better.
