The cheapest humidifier is just putting a bowl of water in with your plant(s). But if you want to buy one, WalMart will probably be the the cheapest place to pick one up.

I would recommend checking out your local goodwill every now and again -- I got an old school humidifier for $7.99 and it works super well! They have tons of stuff -- i.e. their fans are real cheap!
