Humidifier

Hey this is my first grow and my 4” AC Infinity in-line fan doesn’t seem to be able to keep up with the humidity in my 2x4 tent. I’ve used some damp rid but now I’m going into week 2 of flower so I bought a small dehumidifier on Amazon to really get the RH down.

My question is, is it okay to position it on the floor where I have it? I feel like it’s going to suck the moisture out of the fabric pots rather than the air in general. Thanks! B762D758-398F-4D4D-92EE-432F4F23BB57.jpeg

If your tent is in a smallish room I would do what @wakenbake91 suggest.

id put that dehum right next to your air intake so it gets dry (albeit hot) air coming in.

what Is your rh and temp at inside the tent?

You can run like 81-85 degrees and 65-75 humidity at this stage with good air flow you should start running those colas under the net not letting them grow up through it. You’ll open that plant up and get a lot more light coverage which turns into more bud sights.

It’s in my basement so a pretty big room. Currently 76F and 65% and that’s with the dehumidifier running and even the top of the door open during the light cycle and they haven’t been watered in over 24 hours. Not sure what I’m doing wrong lol

I want to tuck them but the branches just aren’t long enough for them to stay I think I started LST too late so the plants already had some height to them with the top few sets of stems being stubby

I grow in my basement as well. The basement stays about 65 to 70 rh all the time I keep a dehumidifier running in the basement. I have a 4x4 tent and a separate room I grow in I can control the room through exhaust and humidifiers and a/c and heater I can dial it in to whatever I want but took time and I pull my fresh air from outside and exhaust outside. My tent on the other hand runs high heat and the humidity runs between 60 and 70 all the time when I flower in it I just increase my air flow in the tent to prevent mold and other stagnant air issues
