Humidifier or dehumidifier

I’m from the Caribbean Trinidad and Tobago to be exact with annual mean temperatures from 26 to 33 degrees Celsius. Do I use a dehumidifier or a humidifier to lower temperatures in my grow tent?

The best option of the two you mention is probably air conditioner...Though I agree that if that's not reasonable, using good circulation fans in your grow space and maybe a good ventilation fan that might pull any additional humidity that your plants add to the environment out and away. The bigger problem is that the environment in the islands tends to be pretty humid no matter what.

Thanks for the reply

I’ve never really checked it out tbh
I highly recommend looking into buying a hygrometer. This will give you an idea of what temperature and humidity you are at. There are fancy ones that you can check through an app remotely as well.
Here is a link to a basic one without all the fancy for $10.

33c (91.5f) is on the very top edge of what I'd consider comfort zone for cannabis. Obviously there were landrace plants that thrived in the tropics & islands in those temps but the plants seem to grow better in the zone between 25c-30c. LED lighting will drive up temps in enclosed growing conditions, but also gives you a few degrees of wiggle room since leaf surface temperature (LST) tends to be a couple degrees lower than ambient temps.

if your humidity drops enough in the dry season you may be able to use an evaporative cooler for a little relief.
otherwise id think a/c was about it for dropping temps.
how do you keep cool?
Well actually I’ve just ordered my first led a Fce 4800 in a 5x5 so I’m actually doing research to begin just asking questions that come to my head concerning the info I receive I just want a great grow

Underpowered for 5x5

I mostly open my tent but now I’m in flower so I scheduled to use the lights at night cooler temperatures in the process of acquiring a ac
