Humboldt's Big Supplemental Lighting Greenhouse

So after Fall Harvest i decided to try a winter supplemental lighting greenhouse grow. I have never done it and does not know anybody else that does it. I have read a lot about it , seen a lot of pics. the greenhouse has taking me over a month to build.

So i built a 30x60 greenhouse and i am running 1000watt Metal Highlights to make up for shitty winter sun and to make the days last longer. I spent $2000 on just the plastic which is a 12 ml Poly Woven. everything is running off a generator so there is a lot of babysitting and i am also learning it very difficult to keep a giant greenhouse at ideal temps. So i am running propane heater almost 24 hours a day.

I will get some pics up tonight,

i am growing 250 plants

Strains growing

Girl Scout Cookie
Gorilla Glue
Sour D
Super Sour D
CDSR3 (Chem Dogg Special Reserve) Aficionado Seeds

bad ass mang . i got a little 40 x 10 under the front of my home and even with a " climate battery" (look that shit up if you got a sec) i still gotta run a heater to keep it around 50 if its cloudy or at night .... if we get the -30 days of last year it gets really pricey.
i myself use a CO (carbonmoxide) moniter so i know i aint gonna die BUT I also use a co2 moniter an supplement time to time. i mention this cuz sealing up my greenie and running propane put me into 2000+ppm of co2 an set off my CO dectctor as well once..... like your style , the world needs more big familys that take care of there own an teach farming.

So i built my greenhouse out of 9 10x20 carports, 4x4 center beams, 1 inch PVC and zip ties. And the best poly woven i can get.

the ground were i put it was very uneven so i leveled it with a 4x4 sub floor. \
and i had 22 tons of gravel dropped off to help level the floor

right on man, thats crazy about your propane setting off your CO detecter. when i camp in my gardens i sleep with a propane heater running all night in my camper.

and yea i am running a heater 24 hours a day and the MH lights are on all day until around 11

if your fittings are tight your fine but a "catalytic" heater is my choice for in camper use.:)
i run 3 EYE super HPS (getting 6 foot movers this week) 1000w for supplement .
for just fucking with light cycle the stawberry growers near you got it dialed with 5 watts per sQft and 45* optimal.
same for canna too warm with no light can cause stem issues so KUDOS for running the extra light to use the extra heat .... now put that heat inthe SOIL with tubes and fans and NOW YOUR FUCKING KILLING IT!! in my humblest of opinons .
i bet i have only pulled 1000lbs my whole life . your gardens speak that 1000lbs is a seson average... FUCK N A RIGHT....

edit pasted The incomplete combustion of propane results in the emission of Carbon Monoxide ....

So because of how cold it is its almost impossable for me to keep this thing heated so i am particioning off a 10x30 area with in the greenhouse to control the environment a little better until it heats up outside. I also have to finish pulling the poly tight. but had to get the plants out of my veg house because of space.

yea my plan is to lay gravel then run black tubbing all over the floor then another layer of gravel and weed barrier and run hot water threw the black tubbing to heat the floor in the winter.

now that is friggen PRO . the poly tube in the floor is MY next step too !! BUT I am ru nnin copper coils off a huge duble barrel 50 gallon steel woodburner to a 275 gallon resi AND DOing a SOLAR COLLector (copper tubes in the sun) for the floor of my 20X 50 greenie.

LOOK at this http://www.ecosystems-design.com/climate-batteries.html
i built a few all over these MTNS for buddies an [they really work well
