hello guys....i am new here..i am also very interested in hso blue dream..
i germinated 2 seeds and i have two beautiful plants.one of them is very indica and the other one is very sativa.i have cloned them and flowered one clone from the sativa looking one.the clone was 3 inches tall and grew to one foot high.i read it somewhere that the real blue dream is the thin leafed sativa with indica style flowers...i have not had a chance to flower the indica looking clone yet and i hope you can help with some advice which one to keep for scrog?
is the thin leafed sativa pheno the one everybody looking for?
I would keep the Sativa pheno. I had the Short indica one and it was avg smoke....good yield, but taste and smell just weren't there for me

I have also grown HSO Blue Dream. The original mother is long gone, but I have flowered probably 8 or 9 clones from her. They were all super easy to grow and produced large, frosty buds. The smoke is nice as well. Only grew a single seed so I don't have any info regarding phonos or anything like that, but here are a few pics. I wanted to get one really big in veg before flowering her so that is the one in the bucket - I will probably veg her for another 5 weeks or so. The one in flower was a smallish plant that I am using mostly as a test subject for tuning this system up - she's about 4 or 5 weeks out still.

What they like after 63?
My particular plants under my particular lights @ 63 days tend to have mostly clear with some cloudy trichome. 70 days seems to get more cloudy and some amber which, to me, is a better effect. But you could totally take them at 63 days and it would still be bomb.

I really want to try some of HSO's gear for my next run.
Chemdawg, train wreck, og kush...
I grew the Chemdawg. Mine was fire dude, seriously. I currently have the Trainwreck going. She is only about 6 weeks-ish from seed so just getting going. I typically top twice to get (8) main tops so she is just starting this process since she got developed enough to handle it. These were taken right after tying her down and pruning a little.

Really fast and good growth actually. I don't have any pics I could find of one of the plants, but here these pics are of HSO Chemdawg buds right after harvest.

Here are some pics of my Humboldt Blue Dream @ day 67. Frosty, sweet-stinky, sticky goodness. As far as my experience has been, you should not pass this strain up. The high is soaring for about an hour or so and then slides you into a relaxed state for the next couple of hours. Not really that sleepy - definitely doable during the daytime.

The LED + HPS kind of screw up any attempts at good photos, but if you blow them up to full size you can see the trichome production is awesome with this strain (or at least with the seed, which truthfully I only grew one of, that I cultivated).

How long do ur veg for and at what stage do u top urs?

I typically veg for about 10-12 weeks. My first topping at the 2nd true node takes place once the plant is about 6 nodes or so high total, just so there is something substantial there to top and so the nodes that remain will at least be started off well. I tie those four branches down horizontally (or as much so as I can) N, S, E, and W and then let those four tips grow out 3-4 nodes above the tie down point and then top down at the first node above the tie. Once those 8 tops grow out enough, I tie those down spaced as evenly as possible so they all have room and then I just let them go until they are ready to flower. They grow 8 nice tops with a bunch of braching off of each. If you keep them spread out you can pretty easily maintain a nice bush in veg. I train mine to 2x2x2 right now due to the space I have, but you can train them out to even larger canopy spreads and get monster going as well.
