Whats goin on everyone? Just got my experiment up and running
Heres a lil tour of my Secret Jardin dr120 setup.
Grow Tent: Secret Jardin Darkroom 120. 3'7"x3'7"x6'7". Using 400watt Lumatek ballast.
Exhaust side of the dr120
Carbon Filter: CAN 24" carbon filter with 4" flange. Not too important yet, BUT the girlies are gettin a lil funky so will soon lower the filter to sit a foot or so above the girls for less area for odors to occupy.
The air line is increased from 4" to 6" to connect to S&P inline fan.
Inline Fan:Soler & Palau TD150 6" Inline Duct Exhaust Fan.293 CFM. Silent and can move some serious air.
Carbon & Fan
Hood: EasyCool 6 in closed.
Veg Lamp:Sunmaster MH 400 Watt
Girlies soakin up the rays
System is ideal(so far). Only issue is humidity levels are around 30-32% which will be perfect for flower. Solving this with a humidifier outside of room by fresh air intake. May work, may not, well see. Any suggestions?
Temps hold steady between 74-76 F with lights and fan running. Hood stays cool to the touch and can place thermostat on glass under the lamp with 2-4 degrees temperature differential.
When the room is sealed up and the Co2 booster is ran the fan is turned off and temps shoot between 85-88 F.
When fan is turned on room drops to 75 in 13 minutes.
Into veg about 3 weeks or so. Unfortunately started using a dull 400 watt hps lamp and being green to science experiments I had no clue. Put the MH in about 5 days ago and !!!
In a few weeks plan on teeing off the exhaust line into the hood and adding a second S&P to cool the hood during the co2 hours. Will use some dampers to insure maximum utilization of the co2.
Can't wait to see what they do next!
Cheers!
