Humans Are Naturally Plant-Eaters

isn't this evidence that humans are not 'natural' meat eaters, that we cannot eat it without cooking it?
We can eat a fruit raw, nuts, vegetables, but we can't eat meat raw we rely on external cooking. Sure we can eat meat, but I'm saying that possibly it doesn't need to be a large part of our diet?
Ummm .... no. We are not immune to the bacteria and diseases that exist in meat, fruit or veggies. No matter what, we have to wash, prepare and make sure what we eat is clean and free of anything harmful. There's always a chance when eating ANYTHING that we will eat harmful bacteria or germs or pesticide that was used or many many other things. Meat is no exception and is just one of the worst things you can eat if not prepared correctly. You are failing on so many levels lol.

there are still people that eat plenty of raw meat - Eskimos
though times have changed a bit, probably a more varied diet these days
but raw muscle meat, brain, blood, blubber - now that's a man's diet

ever heard of steak tartare? you can eat raw meat, the quality of the meat has to be really high. most meat in the grocery store is not fresh enough to eat raw. that's why it's essential that we cook it, to kill the bacteria.

sorry if someone posted this but i think a important aspect was not stated regarding cooking meat/food. it makes meat a hell of a lot easoer to eat. go compare how long and how much effort it takes you to eat a cooked steak to a raw one. makes it easier to digest too. as for my thoughts- even if in the past we were naturally plant eaters we have obviously evolved since then to omnivore diets.

opinions?

Yes, humans ARE natural plant eaters aswell as natural meat eaters. We are omnivorous.

I have a perfect example of why female humans need meat. When I was breastfeeding my son I was a vegetarian. For some reason I was not producing milk in adequate quantities. I was getting about 4 ounces of milk from eat breast when I should have been getting about 8 ounces a breast. Anyway, I went to see my doctor about this problem and I mentioned to him that I did not eat meat. He said I was missing very vital calories that breastfeeding women get from meats. I pretty much ate nothing but raw vegetables which was causing my milk to be low because I wasn't putting in enough calories to lactate. A week after I started eating chicken and fish again, I started pumping out milk like I was a cow. It was awesome. I will never go vegetarian again. I limit the amount of meat I eat every week and I am very aware of slaughter techniques and such. Thats why I get my beef and red meat from a local butcher not a factory farm.

Ever have Steak Tartar? It's raw steak. My boyfriend makes it and it's really gross... He also takes bites from raw hamburgers.

Well let's do some math. Assuming you have 2 breasts that would be 16 ounces. You were only getting 8. So you should have just grown 2 more breasts in order to fulfill your 16 ounces.

Everytime I give someone a hug they have two boobs to squish in the front and two to grab on the back.

The #1 vegetable in Texas is veal.
no all our teeth wouldnt be molars, we might have some inscisors, like voles, we have canines, and so we aet meat, and in the USA we eat more meat than a tyranosaurus. Also there wouldnt be any vampires would they? can you have a vegan vampire? NO, and what about the Mass, blood and body of Christ etc? why in the bible dose it say you musnt eat this meat but you can eat that, obviously in the olden days we ate as much meat as we could get. even John the Baptist managed to get round the bit about not eating prawns, no he pretended he was eating locusts in stead, so even he was a meateater. mind you it must be horriblr getting a tapeworn from eating raw meat.
