I was under the impression I had root rot, from over watering, Than i was seeing signs of ROOT APHID's but never seen any, kept looking, nothing, than I finaly found them but by that time it about killed my plants. The people i borrow the money from ($3-400 total) are people i got set up growing and showed them how to grow, and i contine to show how and do work there and They are having super results (because they dont have any bugs) I do kinda know what i am doing to say the least, but this infestion is killing me.

Everyone i showed how to grow, got them the supplys bulit there rooms, tell them how to feed, take care of spider mites is growing trees, so I am all depressed that i am in the dumps and there are building tree houses in the pot plants

I seen the signs on the plants that they had a problem but than when i figured it out it was to late, I am talking I can wacth my plants die over night because the bugs are so bad. it is rtight after i put them in the flower room that they go down hill.

I guess i dont know what i am doing... I was pulling over 4 oz off Bubba kush witch you all say is impossible... I guess i suck so bad at growing i was preforming miricals... LOL

That is way i was so upset because I had this shit down. and how i do stuff wasn't coping other peoples grows, it was wacthing how the plants grow and doing a seires of Lollipopping when they are clones up to the top growth, than fimming the very top, so the plant puts all its growth into 1 cm (i make a hub) so in stead of 1 growth i get 4-8 stocks coming from one spot.

Do you still have any plants left? There is a good thread on here somewhere that gbives a step y step. You are going to need some safers soap, that will break down the fungus that theyvr infected your roots with. Also some mighty wash and or bayer tree and shrub depending on how you want to do this. Met-52 i think they say is best but hard to get ahold of (maybe?)

the plants in 2-3 gallon (veg contaners prolbaly can be saved. but the bigger plants in 10-12 gallons of organic soil are doomed. so much root mass gave the little fuckers a apartment complex... LOL and with super soil I dont want to be dumping stuff in it that will kill my microbes.

Before i knew i had aphids, i seen some plants with problem and was thinking it was isolated to those plants no big deal, but now all 11 of my plants got problems, cal/mag def. early on than totle nute lock out later on.

I am going to take clones of certain strains clean them up and get rid of all the plants except for my new clones that i am going to cut. once i sell a car i will beable to get the stuff i need and pay my bills and sit back and grow some badass plants once again.

How we do it around here is "money is overrated" we just trade stuff/services, we all have are parts, and it works out pretty nice, but I dont know anybody that wants to trade my services for Pesticides. you know what i mean. If i need my car fixed, i can paint them a picture or weld something for them. but comsumers power don't do no tradeing.

Any chance of you posting the shit out of this with pics so we can all learn from this. I'll pitch in some clones and/or beans to help you restart. Lost serious battle to mites before. After expensive war, scrapped everything. Started over. Don't want to ever go through anything like that again. It took a few harvests to get over the emotional and financial scars. lmao. Big ass bottle of Azamax is $100. I'll pitch in $25, if you post pics so we can check this shit out.

i will post pics tonight when the lights comes on. all i got is a SHITTY camera, so baer with me, but yeah if i can help others not have this issue, That would make me feel better



Tip#1 if your plants start to get a cal/mag deffenicy and you dont know why. better check your soil

I wonder where they came from to begin with? You sure you didnt bring any clones in? Also which ones do you have, tank beetle or more like a fruit fly? The met-52 isnt pesticides it is a fungus.

well being low buget and poor, my growroom has a dirt floor, covered with plastic, than covered with missalaneous plywood.

and i remodled my room so i could do CO2 injection but ran short on funds so i couldn't get CO2 so I have to open my door to the out side and blow cool fresh air in the room. (my preveuse set up has a air filtation system ,DIY, ) but with my new set up i coulden't use it.

Or they came in the soil , all it takes is one, and it will mutiply. I have had this PUCKERs for awhille now, i just didn't know it. I know the soil i get has lots of flying bugs that come out of it. even my house plant that are at a diffent place than my Medical garden have flying gnat like bugs. also every where around here is infested with flying gnat like bugs so I thoght they were just that only gnats no big deal. right?... WRONG lol. I hung up a stick trap last night near my grow area and with in 3-4 hours the fucker was full of little bugs. they got out of hand.

I need to regroup before i take anything new on. but on a side note I did some breeding with a MALE ace of spades and my bubbakush, and a female ace. so maybe i can hook you up with some seeds some day for Grow On 4.20!!! just a thoght

I already mixed up a whole 4 oz bottle of Azamax and did a soil dreach to slow them down.

my understanding is you can not Beat ROOT APHIDs with out getting rid of the plants and bleaching the room.

well.. NEVER use bleach.

and azamaz doesn't work.

you just need to be a little more careful and use Neem as a preventative like twice throughout the cycle.

I'm currently dealing with aphids and have used pyganic , azamax and will now apply malathion (28 days between application and harvest to be safe) . I've been told by a friend that the malathion is a sure kill with aphids.They are a very tough pest and without several poisons I wouldn't even bother trying to wipe them out.

light just came on so I went in to check and can't find a moving aphid, I sprayed the top of the pots and coco with malathion last night and just don't see anything moving today. I found live ones even a day after the pyganic and azamax, I think my friend was right, malathion is the way to go with aphids.

Have you tried SNS yet?

I have..not gonna work. Organically mighty wash as a soil drench in combination with safers soap is better than most everything else
Gognats, pyrethrins, that hot pepper spray (name escapes me), sns-244,217, ladybugs, no pest strips , azamax, tried them all.

+1 for IMID (bayer tree and shrub)
The only thing that got rid of aphids for me. I've tried a handful of other products that didn't perform or only slowed infestation. Systematic insecticides work great, but as stated, give a decent amount of time between application and harvest. It's a great preventative and cure for a good amount of pests (given you're okay with imidacloprid) & a good precaution to to add during veg and will hold strong for the rest of your grow.

I know this is an old thread, but I had to reply. I am in the G.R. area, If you need any help I will be than happy to donate my time to you and your garden. Keep your head up dude, there are ways to control/exterminate them..
