I ordered one of their cheap-o 95$ florasun 400w hps. I got my package yesterday, and pulled out a floralux and a upgraded bulb

Tony left me a note telling me he sent that instead, because they were out of stock on the other one. How nice.

yeah i got one about a month ago and also got upgraded.

Let me know how it goes... I'm considering the $95 + $20 shipping & handling investment, but I want to make sure it doesn't break after like a month

I purchase a 400watt HPS with a MH conversion bulb set up from HTG supplie in january. It was a good investment as far as i'm concerned. they sent me a free sample of some nutes, a lighter and a upgraded bulb. I search the web to find a cheaper set up and ended up going with 1000bulbs.com There prices are very very low. I bought a 400 watt ballest with bulb igniter, socket and some other piece you need, for 91 with shipping. Lets just say you get what you pay for. The ballest: no case, no plug, a bunch of wires sticking out. I had to wire it together myself. I got it done, but wasn't to comfortable doing it. It works just fine, although being very ugly and looks like a fire hazard. So, if your looking for a cheap set up, either 1000w or 70w and you don't mind doing some set up. Try 1000bulbs.com If you want to take the guess work out and get right to growing, use HTG and still get a good price..

Will 400 watt HPS show up on infrared helicopter scans do you think?

I was told that anything under 1000 watts is non detectable. I was also told that anything under 2000 watts was undetectable as well. Bottom line, 400 watt is fine and won't be picked up by IR scanning. Put a couple of fan on the light. There not looking for the light. They are looking for either a much warmer wall then the rest of them in your house or a warm air vent that isn't from your furnace or dryer. Keeping it in closet with mylar on the wall that faces the our side of your house, or keeping your area in the middle of a room will prevent any IR from being detected. I did quite a bit of research on this issue and learned that very little is needed to keep a small grow (under 1000w) from being detected.

yeah htgsupply rules. had a problem with a busted open fox farms nute bottle, they sent a new one free of charge of course...then had a light problem w/ my hps bulb, they sent another one no hassle asap. i highly recommend them

Yea getting a replacement for my 250 watt florasun floralux grow set... Make sure you check twice about ordering from them. If you gonna order from them call them and talk to tony personally and tell them the problem with people having their shit broken down. I hope my new replacement isn't a fuck up....

i'm thinking about getting 4 more, but they got this deal where 11 systems is twice the price as 4... so its got me thinking.

They've sold over 20,000 lights on ebay alone not even counting what gets sold to buyers like me who go straight to the web site to order & skip ebay.

When your volumes are as high as htg's your return numbers will be higher than the rest,also shit being broken in transit has nothing to do with htg,its the asshole shipping companies,everything ive ever bought from htg & ive bought alot & just made another order last night has been packed very well.

Its the shipping companies that break shit from rough handeling not htg using shitty packing methods or sending broken gear.

HTG kicks serious ass with an excellent return policy & damm fine gear.

Get em on the phone through the web site,bag ebay alltogether,they have allways gve me way better deals going straight to them & paying via money order,when you use credit card they have to eat a 3% fee from the credit corp.

for sure man i just got a 400w mh/hps changable light system. came with enhanced mh and hps. hps has an additional 5000 lumens and is 30% more in the blue spec. mh has 38000 not 35000 lumens and has more white light for more full spec.
