HSO Blue Dream and Sensi Northern Lights

Anyone got good things to say about these in particular? Got a buddy who swears by NL and I've had at least a close variant of Blue Dream once in my life.

Loved the Blue Dream like none other, prefer sativa dominant strains much more but can never go wrong with a good indica!

I've read several good things on HSO and Sensi in the past, I'm guessing due to prices they're still as good as they were lol.

If you got info on a general height, or any problems I could run into with these particular strains, even just damn good advice, it would be much appreciated!

And of course smoke reports! Can't leave a good smoke report out when there's a discussion on these 2 awesome strains!

Thanks for any feedback! Much love to you guys here at RIU!

I gotta a HSO blue dream going now. It's a clone from the last run as a seedling. She has a sativa high and a slight blueberry hint to a hazy smoke. My pheno didn't stretch too bad and yielded solid but did get a tiny patch of mold from poor air circulation in the tent. I this round I let her get a little bigger than the seedling so I expect her to yield well. Here is link to my grow, has grow from seedling through flower though the seedling run I had a few issues so this clone run will be a better idea of what she can do.

She is the plant without the wood rods.

Thanks for the input! I'll be checking out your grow shortly :) that picture alone makes me want some blue dream! The taste you described seems to almost fit the bill of what I had, at least as far as my memory goes haha.

I remember it having a very very light blueberry taste, and a real earthy flavor that dominated it. Very up lifting though! Had some Cheese in the same bag and it just didn't compare to it at all.

Was she pretty resilient to the mold or was she pretty sensitive to it?

Also been curious if they do good with Scrog. From what I've read in several journals about sativa dominant strains, they can be a hassle under a screen, but doable.

I've grown both under lights and outside. No problems with either. NL produced 5oz from a summer outdoor grow.
That's awesome! Doing it outdoor is very tempting, but gotta do indoor for now :/.

So they're both pretty hardy plants then I assume? How about germination rates and all that fun stuff?

Maybe a rough height estimate as well? Didn't find a whole lot on em from their descriptions or looking em up. I figure medium height would go anywhere from about 3 and half to maybe close to 5 feet. Correct me if I'm wrong :) thanks for the input!

My blue dream was sensitive to mold but with good air circulation it should be fine.

I enjoyed my 1 hso blue dream seed, I ran it twice, 0 problems, good yielder not great, and like zero popcorn because she was so easy to train. I probably should have kept her. I have one more bean, I hope it is as good.
Smoke was a perfect blend of blueberry and super silver haze flavors, not amazingly potent but a very nice high and the nugs had a silvery sheen that gave it a lot of bag appeal. Not to be confused with the real Blue Dream cut, but very nice smoke nonetheless.

Awesome! That sounds just like what I'm looking for, easy to train and low yield, mainly just so I can have extra jars and sample a few different ones. Variety is the spice of life!

It's all for personal stash so huge yields would be a plus I suppose haha. And make great birthday gifts for a few of my friends!

I hope your last one is the best of all! Lemme know whenever you start her, I'd love to follow that one along :)

I think HSO's all fire. This is my Lemon Garlic OG by them, on the left. 5 weeks 4 days into flower, the entire closet being under only 241w of COB.

I've heard nothing but great things about em! And it looks like everything they have is pretty hardy! Beautiful girls by the way, ever had the lemon garlic before this grow? Sounds like a pretty interesting strain!
