(This is my opinion) Btus are BTUs whether ypou ventilate or not. Extraction just moves the BTUs produced somewhere else. It still produced the same. If you ventilate a tent into the room its in, your just dissipating BTUs. If you vent them outside BTUs go away. For instance in winter I vent my 400w HP's into my upstairs and it helps heat my house. I filter and control humidity. In summer that bitch goes right out the window
