Hps question, please help

hello everyone, this is my 3rd indoor grow, and to celebrate i purchased an aerogarden that was on sale. My grow area is roughly 2.5 feet x 2 inside a room thats about 4feetx6, they arent closed off in anyway and all the wall are white. and the aerogarden fills the space rather nicely, ive got 2 violator kush plants growing quite nicely under 3x 42w i rigged to a sheet metal hood. My question is, im looking for a nice hps to finish my setup... originally i was thinking 150w but i found a nice 250 with a wired ballast for a good price at a local hydro shop, it was some teenager working the really had no information to offer me. Would a 250w be overkill for the area i intend to use and would i be able to keep that room cool enough with a heavy duty fan? any help is appreciated, thanks in advance.

It would be perfect actually.
Even if i had a 400 watt for 1 plant its not overkill,
the more light the better. So IMHO get the 250watt. bongsmilie

You might need to get like a cheep box fan or the like from
wallmart or something like that. I have a 400watt on 2 plants
24hrs a day and the temps always stay between 68 - 80 degrees.
Just experiment :mrgreen:

the actually room is 4 feet wide, 6 feet deep and 8 feet tall, im just using a portion of it for growing. also will be able to leave the door open when lights are on for abit of circulation, got a really strong fan so im not worried.

i wanted reassurance because i didnt want to shell out the cash and have something burn my babies, no need to be rude faux chill and smoke a bowl. stumbled on to your grow, what kind of clones?

Not being rude... I say that to everyone who asks for my opinion when they don't really need/want it. :razz: Now you're giving me orders and asking me more questions..... and you're anongrower....420! I don't know if I like you very much right now. :blsmoke:

lol sorry for taking an interest in your grow brother, i did appreciate your opinion after seeing the 250w hotbox i ultimately went with a 150w hps and see where i go from there. you dont have to like me :) but you will have to deal with me posting on these forums
