Hps or mh??

Got the 44w hps with mh n hps bulb im a autoflower grower so im wondering what to start off with a auto cause ik mh is for veg n hps is more for flower so should i mh to i see colas forming then switch or wat? Tell me your guys suggestions

I've never grown an auto, but if the same principles apply, then yes, use MH at first. It helps reduce stretch in the early stages and keeps nodes tighter, then flip to HPS.

Hopefully an auto grower will chime in and correct me if I'm wrong.

You can start with MH, then switch to HPS later, or just run HPS the whole time. HPS will veg your plants nearly as well as a MH. Notice I said "nearly".

if you grow them from seed with hps they will be fine,plus they get used with the powerfull light and heat so no worries about 30C+ temperature is overheating them:) check my autos they grow in 33C from seed and no overheat till now, experimenting is learning. But im a different story if i had found MH in my shitty country i would probably have bought one

My seeds were under two 600w MH bulbs from sprouting early, and have just been put under 2 600w hps bulbs. Results will be excellent, as has been said, the MH forced tighter nodes and less stretch in flower
