HPS lighting set up info needed

I have set up a new room at a remote location using some old 400 HPS lights I had laying around. I'm less than impressed with the size of the buds I'm getting, so I want to upgrade to 600s. I already have a couple digital 600 watt ballasts. Minimally, what do I need to be able to use those? Can I just plug the fixtures I am currently using into the 600 watt ballasts, and use 600 watt bulbs?

Unfortunately, one of the 400s is an all in one unit. I have searched the supply houses, but can't figure out what all I need. I don't want to buy the complete setup since I already have the ballasts.

Thanks for any help you can give me.

I don't see why not.* The bulbs and ballasts will match, they all use the same socket; you should be golden.

*I'm not an expert by any means, but this will at least bump it so maybe someone that is an expert will chime in.

You can buy a reflector, air cooled for about 28 bucks or a cooltube for 50 bucks as long as they use the standard "S" plug leaving the ballast, you should be good to go. I had a cooltube last grow and now I am using just an open wing type reflector, but still the same ballast.

Thanks. I ended up going to the local hydro store, and went with a couple open wing hoods. They plugged right in. Easy peasy lol.

Why? I just switched from Open wings to cool tubes. Why did you switch?
I now have a dedicated a/c for the flower room, enough to easily cool 2000w of lights (2-600 and 2-400 ) You lose about 8% or a bit more from the light by having glass between the bulb and the plants and I have a bit more control over the coverage with an adjustable reflector. I still have my cool tubes, if I have an issue maintaining the temp, I can install them and eliminate that part of it, only time will tell. Right now I am running 1 600 and the a/c only cycles once in a while.
