hps light hook up? help please! [:

okay, so i have decided to start growing my own marijuana & i've done hours of research on growing. my buddy of mine gave me a 50w, 70w, & two 100w high pressure sylvania lights he had bought from lowes.( just the light bulbs ) - nothing else. my question is will these lights work? & how the hell would i hook these up? & what would i need to buy & where to get it?

they will work, but you should really just buy a cheaper pre-made setup from a trusted retailer, lowest i would go is 150watthps.... htgsupply has a 150watt setup for dirt cheap man, check in on it, you will be happy did. down the road you will realize that more power=more budz .... i use a 150 to veg my babies, fucker veg's them great... you can veg a lot of plants under a 150 for a while (mponth or two) until they become too big and begin to outgrow the light footprint the 150 has to offer..... you could flower 2 nice ones under a 150 though i bet..peace

I wouldn't waste your money setting up those lights. If you are going to get into growing and plan on doing it for a while and want to get some good yields, go out and buy yourself a 600watt hood, ballast and bulb. It will make a world of difference. Also remember that you are going to need to create a way to keep your room cool no matter what lights you end up going with.
