Hps led hybrid.

My current flower tent is a 5x5 lit with a 1000 watt hps. Results and yeild Afghan skunk are are nice. Better than average but not top shelf.
Was thinking about upgrading my lights for a led hps hybrid and going with a 4x8 flower room/tent.
My idea is to go with the 500 watt chill board kit with running a 600 watt hps. Also upgradind the grow area to a 4x8 and putting the lights on a rail.
For the lights I've got a $1500 budget.
Would this be a good mix of how and leds?

I think you'd need a little more light if you want your product to be maxed out, maybe add a little more LED to the mix? or swap the 600W hps for a 1000W DE

That would do fine but like stated above won't really max the space. Why not use the 1000w in half the 4x8 and the 500w chilled in the other half?

Thanks for the replies. The general responds was more light. Do you guys believe there is any benifit to running a hybrid light system? If so what would be a good ratio of led to hps light? Also looking for a easy to assemble system. On the led side is the chilled leds worth it? Do chilled produce the light spectrum I need (uv and far red)? Also I wanted to go with a light mover to remove hot spots and spread the light more evenly.

Thanks to all that have posted.

Put the 1000 watt in the middle and two hlg 320w 4000k kits on either side. Then add in some f40 t12 uv-b bulbs from solacure (like 2 hours a day). Get a couple of Emerson strips and a couple of flower initiators from rapidled. That should give you a decent rounded spectrum with an hps plus some of the latest tech under budget. Or you could just buy 2 used hlg 550 v1 for $1200 and do great in a 4x8
